In higher educational bodies, we have noted the lack of trainers that are covering the topics like relay logic and house wiring. Relay logic is one of the major concepts to understand PLCs and their programming, that we are missing in our educational instituted. As well as a house wiring trainer is also missing from the major institutes, the house wiring topic is complicated and students find it difficult in the fieldwork. Combination of relay logic and house wiring trainer is not available in the market and buying them separately as two trainers will be very expensive and instituted were not able to afford these trainers.
Our goal is to build a State Of the Art trainer that is capable of performing these two tasks/topics (relay logic and house wiring), in which students can practice these topics and build their concepts, get on-hand experience on industrial logic circuits as well as on house wiring. The main purpose is to help students in their profession and serve to introduce and give exposure to these topics, in which students can perform the tasks related to these. One of key benefits is that it can combine with another trainer to make something new as well as if this get old and updated in the future its components can use in new projects ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
This trainer is a cheap alternative to the market-bought trainer, this trainer is not comprised on quality and is as compatible as its counterpart. It is equipped with the latest and state-of-the-art components for students.
Project ObjectivesOur objectives are to provide our instituted and its students through this project are given as below;
- Give students exposure to topics, that are relay logic and house wiring.
- Providing quality educational, on hand experiences to students on these topics by our trainer.
- Building a trainer that is cheap and equipped with quality components for a better and professional experience for the user.
- Fulfilling the need for trainers that are capable of performing topics like relay logic and house wiring in the higher educational bodies.
- Providing our instituted a trainer that is capable of multiple industrial logic circuits, in a safe and interactive manner.
- Preparing a trainer that is easy to maintain and if any components malfunction it can easily be replaced by someone who has technical skills, is for students do not face any kind of difficulties in their way of learning.
Our objective in this is to make an easy and interactive material to study and built their interest in the automation/house wiring field providing the students a helping hand in their respected field. Our objective is to build a trainer which is far less expensive than they cost in the market but provides the same quality as they have in the market and it can be expanded too much further than its original design.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe technical details of our projects are given below;
- This trainer can perform relay logic and house wiring.
- The relay logic components are mainly named as contactors, timer, relay, limited switches, push on/off buttons, etc.
- In this students can attach wiring to different components as directed. Attaching wiring is very simple and easy.
- House wiring contained all of the components that are present in a typical household connection provided by the distributor, to mimic a proper household connection in our labs.
- If a student follows the directions of the circuit, it will be easier for him/her to get the desired result, if they don't follow the direction the trainer will work fine unless they did not done any kind of mistake, our trainer is equipped with all kind of safety measured ensuring that if it is a short circuit, the switchgear will off the power supply before it can do any damage to the user or to the equipment.
