To solve the problem a remote smart home healthcare support system is proposed for monitoring patients’ health status and receiving doctors’ prescriptions while staying at home. Besides this, doctors can also carry out the diagnosis of ailments using the data collected remotely from the patient. An Android based mobile application t is implemented for efficient patients-doctors dual real-time communication.

With the proposed project idea patients can be remotely monitored from their homes,. Therefore, one main significant contribution of this study is that patients in self-isolation or self-quarantine can use the new platform to send daily health symptoms and challenges to doctors via their mobile phones. Thus, improved healthy living and a comfortable lifestyle can still be achieved even during such a problematic period of the 2019 COVID-19 pandemic. There will also be a feedback system for every emergency situation

  • To provide Internet of Things based healthcare solutions at anytime and anywhere using raspberry pi IOT device and GSM module for sending the data.

Project Implementation Method

lIn [1] describes the monitoring of remote  patients during condition like COVID -19 and they proposed a smart home health care system for the sick, elderly and handicapped.

lIn[2] describes the connection of different sensor which is used for medical diagnosis and  also describe the proposed framework is to adopt a new production of medical systems that can provide health care services for high quality and low-cost patients using this combination of large data analysis.

lIn [3] the author proposed a system in which patient’s body temperature, heart rate, body movements and blood pressure reading results that are being monitored by the system. The various sensors are placed on the patient’s body and they take the readings and send the corresponding signal to the raspberry pi.  

Benefits of the Project

lIn this project we had to design a system which can collect the patient medical diagnosis information through different sensers.it will send data to the doctor through app and patient receive the doctor perceptions with same flatform.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
  • Using sensor to collect real time data of patient.
  • To send and stored data of patient using raspberry pi device.

The patients who can not read the massages of doctor can use the speech translator to listen the massages from the doctor.
