Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThis project is based on controlling Home Intelligently and Smartly which performs tasks as well as entertain users. It will reduce human labor, time and effort. The main goal is to design a voice control based intelligent system.
Project Objectives“Smart Home Access” is an IoT based device which will be installed in home. This IoT device is Raspberry PI and AI model will be trained on it. Its functions to control Smart Home and a friendly chat with the user. User will be able to control home anywhere in the World.
Project Implementation Method“Smart Home Access” is an IoT based device.Raspberry PI is used as minicomputer. AI models are implemented in it which is coded in Python. RNN and ANN models are used. All home appliances which user wants to control must have or attach and NodeMCU with it. All objects must be connected to a network. Smart Appliances will be then control by PI over a network. Microphones and speakers will be attached to say Command to PI. After action on command, PI will also respond and give report of the action by speaking conveyed by speakers.
Benefits of the ProjectIn the field of AI & ML, the scope of this IoT based device is wide. People relay too much on Smart Devices. People are spending very hustle and bustle life. In this situation, they forget their although minor but daily tasks or sometimes, when they are tired, don’t want to do it or even they get annoyed. So, this product is here to become a hand of today’s people which will make their life easier and simpler. It will make the entire home SMART, which will be controlled with the voice.
It will also do some works (i.e. switching off room lights by observing if no one is in the room). With the passage of time, device will be mature enough to do a lot of tasks automatically and you don’t have to speak. The device will also be friendly. User can make a conversation with it. It’ll respond to the user nearly to human.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableHome Automation Work is almost done. User will able to control Entire Smart Home from the Web. Voice Recognition based system is under Beta version, will be avalible soon.
