Managing attendance may be a vital record-keeping in any institution. There are many different methods of
maintaining attendance from manual systems where the system is marked in sheets or in automatic systems
on the likes of biometrics. The combination of frequency Identification (RFID) with fingerprint
biometric technology was to enhance the safety level and integrity of the records. The designed
system not only makes the system design simpler but also enhances the productivity of the institutionboth in terms of manpower and time. The system doesn't only simplify the method of taking attendance
but reduces error and allows for faster verification of teacher attendance, all with minimal human
interaction. On the other hand this system will be more cost effective. Because for each person we are using
the RFID whose cost may vary. The solution is a Smart card based attendance system for teachers. Authentic
teacher can get attendance on just one scan.

• Implementation of a different scanning algorithm of generating QR Code using a feasible
library.
• Designing and development of systems via using different tools such as sublime and visual
studio.
• Understanding the working of laptop camera via library and its optimization

Benefits of the Project

The objective of this system is to make the manual system a technological/automatic system that
saves the time of teachers to attend classes on time via using their faculty card or special card
provided by the administrator.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The project has a very vast scope in future. The project can be implemented on
intranet in future. Project can be updated in near future as and when requirement
for the same arises, as it is very flexible in terms of expansion. With the proposed
software of database Space Manager ready and fully functional the client is now
able to manage and hence run the entire work in a much better, accurate and error
free manner. The following are the future scope for the project.

? Bar code Reader based attendance system.
? Individual Attendance system with photo using Student login
