On the discontinuity of primary source, the system automatically detects the shortage and starts the secondary source without any help and this project is all about the controlling and switching of the load on various sources of power. Efforts are being laid in the integration of different electronics modules to design the robots and artificial intelligence which can perform different tasks and surrogate human being. another phase of this project is to make home water pump smart, in which the pump will be controlled wirelessly according to the level of water. then further next phase of the project is to control the moisture levels of the home lawn wirelessly. this project can be extended further and can be used in industries to control heavy machinery wirelessly.
Project ObjectivesTo make life easy and to reduce human efforts.To provide continuous power supply and by automatically turning on the secondary source without any external help. Wirelessly turning on water pump and saves water by turning off water pump automatically and Wirelessly activating and deactivating water pump and to decrease water wastage.To control home loads wirelessly in case of generator, which will automatically provide power supply when there is failure of grid.To make more intelligent and low cost ATS system.To avoid use of unnecessarily energy and prevent water wastage.
Project Implementation MethodIn the ATS system there is a Voltage sensor which will sense voltage between the primary and secondary source and If primary voltage is available heavy loads relay will be switched on and loads will continue while Having no voltage at primary source sensor will send data to controller wirelessly through RF module and will start the secondary source and in secondary source heavy loads relay will be switched off.
The control of water pump using water level sensor which will sense water level and if the tank level is low so signal will be send to receiver and will drive water pump relay and will be on automatically and at high level adain the process will continue and pump will be off automatically.
Benefits of the Projectproviding continues power supply and reducing human efforts by performing errorless work without the involvement of the human and automatically switch to another power supply, reducing the risk of data loss, damage to electrical equipment or any disruption to a business or facility and saves energy and water and saves cost as well.
Technical Details of Final Deliverablethere are 5 recievers which are connected with heavy loads and one transmitter which is connected with ATS panel and will switch off heavy loads will starts the genrator then. and when there is priamary source available so the transmitter will send signal to receiver and loads relay will be driven and loads will continue. and for water pump when there is low levels so signal will be send to receiver which will drive the motor relay and motor will starts while sensor will be sensing the level and when it reaches the upper limit so then again signal will be send to motor relay which off the motor. this all process will be done wirelessly.
