Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe aim is to develop such a system, which uses microcontroller as a central part to sense (detect) the vehicle accident and informing the owner/helper/family about the accident and also the position where it happened. Information about the accident will be sanded through WSN module to the nearest installed WSN receiver which uses mesh topology, where information about the position (coordinates) will be fixed for each poll all the information about the accident and position will be send through Arduino module in case any of the node is affected or damaged system will send information through other path. And information will be sended to main unit (control room) using WSN or Arduino
Project Objectives-
In highly populated Countries like china, India, Pakistan during accidents, people lose their lives due to unavailability of proper medical facilities at the right time. This project senses any accident in the vehicle and intimates pre-programmed numbers like the owner of the vehicle, ambulance, police etc.

It immediately sends the information to the nearest pole on road border through WSN module which send position of the vehicle and also the information that there is an accident, to pre-programmed numbers such as the owner of the vehicle, police, ambulance etc. So the ambulance arrives in time and the police can arrive in time to clear the traffic. This reduces the time taken by ambulance to arrive and also traffic can be cleared easily.

There is a drastic increase in the number of vehicles in these days which also cause a steep rise in the number of accidents with a lot of people losing their lives. According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 1.2 million people lose their lives every year due to car accidents. India's road accident records 16 % of the world's road accident deaths, whereas India has only 1 % of the world's road vehicles. It is due to the increase in the number of vehicles without a subsequent increase in the road facilities required for it. In most of the accident cases, the victims lose their lives because of the unavailability of medical facilities at the right time.
Tracking:- It will help us to locate the position of vehicles on Highway roots between the nodes easily.
Monitoring:- It is the collection of nodes that communicate with each other wirelessly.
Indication:- It will help us to locate the position of vehicle between the nodes and send the alert report to the nearest pole in case of disturbance/delay/accident.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe main core of this project is to design a system which monitor the accidental cars or any misshape and inform to the control room. This ultimately saves the life by decreasing time of arrival of ambulance. So the objective is to monitor accidental cars and inform about their status which is beneficial for consumer and government using Ad hoc network.
