The HVAC System  controls  Heating , Ventilating, and AirConditioning of a residence.The Central Thermostat Unit  controls the general heat, air conditioning and fan level of the residence.User's can set their room temperature with a simple user interface and the individual room controllers  adjust vent openings to meet the user's comfort level.The project is demonstrated by simulating temperature conditions.With HVAC system  significant improvement in energy efficiency can be obtained without major modification  to an existing heating and  cooling system.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

First we completed our literature review then we designed our prototype structure in which we made two zones and air ducts for inlet and outlet of air .

Then  we have interface our refrigerant unit with electronic  AC universal Card that is KT-U03C+.Refrigerant unit consist of condenser,compressor and evapourator . we used RTD sensor for each zone.Sensor sense data (temperature) give their specfic room controller (arudino uno) then controller on the basis of that data controls the opening and closing of air duct  through damper motor.

The benefit  of hvac is the biggest draw of switching to a smart energy-efficient systems is lower energy bills.A smart HVAC system gives you the ability to control the variability of the temperature inside your home.Installing a smart HVAC system allows you to take advantage of cleaner air.Finally, a smart HVAC system can be accessed remote.HVAC is an important part of residential structures

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Refrigerant unit  used either to heat or cool.It operates on voltage ~110V. four way valves is used with refrigerant to reverse the circulation in reversible refrigeration systems. With this reversal, the evaporator becomes a condenser and the condenser becomes an evaporator.It also operate on voltage ~110V. KT-U03C+board Universal A/C  control card used in refrigerant unit /Heat pump for air control.It has 5 working mode.High , Medium ,Low three fan speed control.Kit operate at ~110v .220v to 12v  transformer is used to operate the display and temperature sensor .5 relays used in this kit:Three  relay used to control the speed of fan.One  relay for 4way valve.One for compressor.two temperature sensor(coil and temperature sensor) with this kit.we used RTD sensor for each zone to sense data (temperature) which give their  specfic temperature information to their room controller (arudino uno) then controller on the basis of that data controls the opening and closing of air duct  through damper motor.
