Self Controlled Floor Cleaning and Mopping Robot
Households of today are becoming smarter and more automated. Home automation delivers convenience and creates more time for people. Domestic robots are entering the homes and people’s daily lives, but it is yet a relatively new and immature market. However, a growth is predicted and the adoption of domestic robots is evolving. Several robotic vacuum cleaners are available on the market but only few ones implement wet cleaning of floors. The purpose of this project is to design and implement a Vacuum Robot Autonomous and Manual via Phone Application. Vacuum Cleaner Robot is designed to make cleaning process become easier rather than by using manual vacuum. The main objective of this project is to design and implement a vacuum robot prototype by using Arduino Mega, Arduino Shield, LDR Sensor, Real Time Clock, Motor Shield L293D, Ultrasonic Sensor, and IR Sensor and to achieve the goal of this project. Vacuum Robot will have several criteria that are user-friendly.
After having thought about the project and have discussed with the relevant people. We will start designing and making layouts using solid works and other software’s to realize that project. And now we come with the idea of making a project that reduces human effort that based on robotics to develop a machine that helps in easy and quick completing work and then we decided to make a project namely self controlling floor cleaning mopping robot to provide the alternative method to cleaning floor to minimize effort that went into cleaning surfaces to have a system thatconsumes less time and above all having cost effective project that can be used in the large people. Also having a project that reduces tripping in other words sometime when you have a project completed the starts coming after that so to curb those incidents because it cannot be done away with completely so what you can do best is to reduce as much as you can and make efficient as much as it can be. Having done all this there some aspects that you need to be careful about for instance making something that is environment friendly and best way to have it is to reduce its fuel consumption.
Implementation will strted when all the software work is done. The controller codes and the research will be completed. Start of implementing will be started by cutting of the frame of the body of robot then the next step will be to make it move like a robot after it will be controled only to work like a robot we will add up the working which we want to do and that is the implementation of moping and cleaners after this it will be controled by web cam which is provided on the robot and then the total control through out the cctv will be implemented. This is the method we will follow after all there can be some changes if we face any problem.
What we aim to achieve we have accomplished in doing so. Just to being in present and situation that we are facing in dealing with corona virus there is high degree of danger people get infected in doing their work and that applies to the workers who do cleaning our project also kept them in safe hands while cleaning floors just to give an example you have a large number of people coming into close contact this robots get them separated and have a work done too. So therefore the aim that we set out to achieve has achieved its course and now it can be used in public places, malls, hospitals and can be also used on roads for cleaning but the manufacturing will be changed as the situation of work.
There are several issues that we can face during our project I would list them starting discussing first issue which is Bluetooth so the issue came when we insert input through which communicate information and achieve our goal. However the issues that during that inspection will quite substantive in terms of hurting our project. The second issue we can face related to power for instance when we connected the power supply to the project for the time being it has no issues that can be called significant but after having run it regularly the integrated circuits (ics) can start to get damaged. That issues can be called significant in terms of how much damaged it occurred then we will look solutions for that problem then we can also face heat sink just to provide safer path to integrated circuits and place it before the integrated circuits and got this problem resolved. We will deal with smoothness of the vehicle. We will run the vehicle with a constant speed in other words the speed will be at constant pace and for instance you have a water to be lifted from the available place there is a certain distance from where you can lift it because when the distance get increased the harder it became to lift so therefore you will have make that adjustment to put the right situation in place for water to be lifted. Others technical details will be achieved when we will make this project completely.
