Project Area of Specialization Mechanical EngineeringProject SummaryOur project is on scheduling of parts to improve value aided work in process in manufacturing industry.Scheduling is basically the process of arranging controlling and optimizing the work and work loads in manufacturing process and production process.In manufacturing the purpose of scheduling is to minimize the production time and cost.So our project is on to improve value aided work in process.Basically the value aided work in process is the partially completed goods which are typically turn from raw material to finished product.The industry which I selected is spark packages industry. It manufacture cardboard and corraughted boxes. Then we applied the different dispatching rules and also different algrothm such as NEH algrothm.So by doing this we reduce the makspan and also improve value aided work in process.

Reduce cost associated with value addition.
Achieve the customer demand.
Project Implementation MethodI selected the spark packages industry and we reduce the value aided work in process So by using the different tools and software we reduce the makspan and also we achieve our objective and then we implement on the industry.
