We are actually developing a multivendor Ecommerce Store website application and a mobile application. The project will contain 3 entities of the customer who will buy the products, the vendor who would list their products for sale, and the admin who will manage the customers, vendors, orders, payments.

Project Objectives

Our project is mainly targeting vendors and customers. For customers, they have a wide range variety of products to shop from, and as for vendors, it serves the purpose of bringing their business online and to a common platform. The product recommendation for the customer will be a stand-out feature as it will implement a cross and up-selling concept. The chatbot will answer customer queries and guide them. Vendors can list products and can manage them. Customers can add a product to his/her wishlist. Customers can review a certain product of a vendor, add the product to his/her cart, customers can check out the cart products, order them and pay the order amount. Order will be managed by admin and details will be shared with the vendor.

Project Implementation Method

Sahulat Store is implemented in Visual Studio Code. MongoDB is used for databases. For the frontend, React JS is the language used along with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Backend is developed using Node JS and Express.

Benefits of the Project

The project idea comes under the area of e-commerce, business. This project will bring all vendors to a common platform and make it easy for the customers to buy products from multiple vendors or compare the prices of the same product which is being sold by different vendors. It will eliminate the single vendor's websites. Our project will also include the product recommendation based on the concept of cross and up-selling.   

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our project consists of 2 parts. In FYP-I, we will be using the MERN stack framework which consists of MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js to develop a web application. For FYP-II, we will be building a hybrid mobile application for Android and IOS which will be developed using React Native.
