Recently, there has been the tremendous shift of businesses from conventional on-store buying and selling to online exchange. People prefer easier way of looking up all the stores and ordering their desired product. It saves them from the effort and time-consuming process of shopping on site. Many platforms have come to use to facilitate the online businesses but there has been lack of services provided by them. There is no platform that combines all the goods and services and provides a complete market for user to set up his own market. A person whose entire business is on store can suffer greatly as we have seen in pandemic situation. This platform would provide the person a platform to set up his own shop. A person who needs services can visit the site and request any service instead of looking at different places.
Project ObjectivesNowadays, the trend for buying and selling has changed. Sellers have started using online platforms to expand their businesses since COVID’19 and buyers prefer online purchasing for hassle free shopping. Many people have services to offer but due to lack of a single platform that integrates provision of both products and services, these service providers have remained out of business. SabKuch is an online platform that allows the users to sell and purchase any kind of product and it allows users to provide services to other uses. The users with skills will have a reliable platform to grow as service providers and the consumers will have a trusted platform of service providers. With that, it will also allow the users to set up their entire shops on the website. This is of a great advantage to shopkeepers selling second hand products as people who are reluctant to shop from such markets will have online platform to buy such products. It will also allow users who want to avail discount book deals with other known or unknown users. This will be cost effective to all people booking the deal. Along with this, it will enable user to make a sound decision when purchasing products by comparing products of same type.
Project Implementation Methodwe are building this project on the latest framework RoR. in which the front end will be on html +css and backend on ruby. firstly we will be completing the front end according to the need then we will go on the backend to connect properly. we also including data protection using AES encryption and hashing SHA 512.
Benefits of the Projectit is a web base project where we are trying to give exposure to a small shopkeeper to go nationwide and for the customer we are providing all tangible and intangible products on a single platform where he/she can have house hold services such as plumbling services, wood work, cleaning etc plus the products (new+used) our product ranges from a single lipstick to a big car part. customer can also have a comparison on listed products and also avail secure paymenting. in addition to this more than one customer can buy a single deal according to their need.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableHigh level features of this platform include:
1. User registration and login: Every user of this platform can login/register as a seller, as a super store, as a service provider or as a buyer/consumer.
2. Khula Bazaar: This will allow sellers to set up their shops on the site and buyers can visit their shops on the website and they can bargain over the product in the chat.
3. Posting ads: A seller can post his/her product(s) for selling.
4. MannChaha: In this segment, if the buyer didn’t find the desired product in the Khula Bazaar section or in the advertisement section then he/she can request the desired product.
5. Item comparison: Most of the popular online platforms don’t include the functionality of comparing different advertisements of same type of products which are posted on the website.
6. Filtered deals and promotions: This section includes all the deals posted by the sellers and by the stores from the Khula Bazaar. This helps the user to easily get all the listed deals, promotions, and discounts.
7. Provide and avail service: Our website allows users to list/tag themselves as service provider or any skill holder so other users can request services.
8. Reviews and ratings: Every user i.e., the buyer, seller, shops, will have their own ratings and stars.
9. Secure Payments: The user will have the choice of transferring money either online or in person. If the choice is online, then the money will be transferred to the bank and to the seller 2 days after the selling of product. This is for buyer satisfaction and seller’s trust.
