Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryOne of the primary function of Road Blind corner Warning System is collision avoidance. This application is typically realized in line-of-sight conditions. However, it does not perform well in situations, when another car suddenly come into view around the corner of a Road. Hence, this project proposes an Ultrasonic sensors with Arduino, enabling the detection of an oncoming car in blind corner conditions. In Many Areas Accidents occurs on the turning point because of the blind corner at Road we want to overcome these Problems. Modern-day cars are much more high-tech, making even further alterations to improve vehicle safety and technology features. Automotive makers use new technological developments to offer preventative safety tools for drivers to keep passengers safe. Yet, not all vehicles, especially older ones, come with the latest technology. So, we need to install Road Blind corner Warning System for safety measures. Drivers can follow this Road Blind corner Warning System for notify of any potential hazards that may exist outside their eye view at Blind Corner. Many Vehicles can be undetectable or invisible to those in the driver’s seat, especially in certain areas. To boost traveling safety and the driving experience, you need to know which blind spot monitoring system is the best one for you. Our Project consist of Ultrasonic sensors that detect the object at both sides of Blind corner of road and alert the Drivers by giving Signals through Red and Green LED.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is:
- The core objective of this Project is to alert the drivers at the Blind corner of the Road
- To avoid collisions at Blind Corners in any Weathers (e.g. Fogg, Storm etc.)
- To prevent fatal accident involving blind spot region.
This proposed model will use for Road Blind Corner Warning System for driver under day-time and night-time conditions. We are using Ultrasonic sensors and Arduino, These Ultrasonic sensors emits Waves of Different Frequencies that will detect the Object at Blind Corners and give us data through the receiver of ultrasonic sensors that how much the object is far. After receiving the data, the ultrasonic sensors alert the drivers by giving signals through Red and Green LEDs.
Benefits of the ProjectEffective in Fog:
During fog when nothing is clear, it will work.
Effective in Storm:
In sudden storm or weather crisis detecting system will detect the vehicle and would aware about situation.
Use for speed measurement:
Speed of vehicle is also measures by system
Use for traffic jam:
Traffic jamming is a very big issue in northern areas. Once traffic jammed, you have to wait for hours for the flow of traffic again. The system will also indicate about the traffic jam and will sort out the problem of traffic jam.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableDistance measurement of an object through the air is used in a large number of applications such as vehicle control. The Ultrasonic sensor is one of the cheapest and easily available option to measure distance for similar Requirements. This sensor can be easily interfaced with Arduino or any other micro-controller. We are using Ultrasonic sensors and Arduino, These Ultrasonic sensors emits Waves of Different Frequencies that will detect the Object at Blind Corners and give us data through the receiver of ultrasonic sensors that how much the object is far. After receiving the data, the ultrasonic sensors alert the drivers by giving signals through Red and Green LEDs.
