In this research, to replace the current library barcoding system, a book tracking RFID-based system has been designed and developed. This program will enable librarians to minimize the time needed during the charging and discharging process for scanning barcodes. In addition, by inserting the Emailing System to inform the borrower book of the due date of book return and also specify the associated fine, this technology has been enhanced.
In hardware design the components include: a UHF RFID reader, passive RFID tags, Microcontroller. RFID reader will track tags attached to the Books and students ID card indicating that Books and Student details are placed are inserted inside. A database is created to store all the inventory information efficiently.. The System provides real time information of Books and Student i.e. when and who issue, borrow a book and what type of book is issued by the student. System provides information of authorized users, no. of Books registered, and Books currently present in the Library.
The foremost objective of this project is to develop a Books management system that provides a user-friendly atmosphere and is efficient enough to meet accuracy standards. This system will reduce the need of manpower and will consume less time than it takes normally
Following are the objectives to be achieved by our proposed system.
? To design an efficient Books storage system with high data accuracy.
? To design a database that keeps record of Books placed within the inventory of library as well as Issued books stock management.
? To provide access to authorized students and faculty only by their RFID Id card scanning.
? This system will provide the real time processing of data.
? RFID based lms facilities the fast issuing, reissuing and returning of books with the help of
RFID enable module.

The designed system installed in Libraries at Universities, college and schools will be capable enough of keeping records accurately making daily processes easier and faster.
RFID technology is used for tracking and identification along with the authentication of different department students taking away the items. By deploying this system, we can minimize human work and documents by computerizing existing documents system.
Technology makes life comfortable. It is necessary to have a system that is used to overcome the difficulties faced in the inventory system. We are developing this system keeping in mind the necessities of libraries/librarian. We have done surveys in our university and near our E-library sAttock and identified their needs and designed this system accordingly.
We will developed an application using Visual Studio. GUI (Graphic user interface) of the application (Library Management System) has different sections. GUI shows the logs of the previously made inventories along with the time and students who issued or returned the books respectively. It clearly shows the name of Book as well as the issued date. Students are identified by RFID Student ID’s card assigned to them. We can assign tags to the Books by simply clicking on the add icon, all we must do is to write the name and ISBN No and category of the book along with its Tag Id. Same is the case with deleting the existing books if we don’t need them. Same is the case with the fine calculation for each issued book by student who late returned his/her book after the due date. We have another section relating UHF RFID reader at Exit of the library. It will scan the books tags in its range up to 3m and checks the book record weather the book is issued or not. If the books is issued then it will not ring the alarm otherwise it will ring the alarm and alert the library staff.
The system will keep record of the books placed or issued along with his name, date and time and ISBN no. System shows the logs from the beginning time to up till date and concern student can view it. For the Admin Login Admin can monitored all the activities of students, faculty issued books ,dues and all the other data in their accounts. There is a section named Categories like electrical engineering, computer science and mathematics in which Books stock present in it can be viewed. Students and faculty can only check his/her record of issued books, fine calculations and his/her personal login information By clicking on the icon named Access Records can check the history of the students/faculty i.e. when (date and time) they accessed this System. While Admin can see both faculty and students Login Data, issued books each and everything.

Coming towards the hardware section, RFID is being used for identification and tracking purpose. RFID readers are installed in the librarian desk and exit of the library door of automatically scanning the tags pasted on the books. RFID readers will retrieve information and send it to backend system so does the data will be stored in database and it will be updated after every books and student takes place.
Benefits of the ProjectThere are several benefits that will be achieved by using this system. Designed system will be beneficial in terms of data accuracy, time consumption and authorization.
