- Aim of “Rescue ME”, application is to provide a platform for the people where they can get information about the alarming situation if they are in an area where there is a chance to occur an earthquake.
- This application will notify its users about the earthquake occurred as it will take the information about the intensity and magnitude of the earthquake
- This application will provide people with the information of previously occurred earthquakes in different areas of Pakistan so that people will be able to judge where there are more chances to occur earthquake.
- People will also be able to connect with their family members using this application in order to notify them about their safety. People using this application will also be able to integrate with the social media applications like Facebook and Twitter etc. in order to connect with other people using these social media applications .

Android application “Rescue Me: Earthquake Monitoring App” is developed using waterfall methodology. - We conducted different meeting session with our stakeholder to get information and requirements of the proposed system. We studied the requirements document to get better understanding of the goals, outcomes and boundary of the application.
- We prepared flow charts to understand the simulation of the proposed system. Then we built the prototypes of our product and evaluated it from the customer to get his reviews on the initial layout.
- After gathering the requirements and completing the GUI we started actual development of the system. We started coding the functionality of the system by dividing the system into small parts.
- After developing each unit and performing testing on all individual component we will integrate small units and perform integration testing on the integrated component. After all integrated components are tested, we test the whole system as a unit and identify all problems that are associated with interfaces or functionality.
- After developing the system and performing testing activities on it, we will perform customer acceptance testing and we will deliver final product to customer.

- “RescueME” is an android application. Most users have android mobile phones in Pakistan so it will target maximum population of Pakistan.
- Application will provide information of natural disaster(earthquake) therefore it will help user to make safety measures on time.
- Application will notify the user about currently affected areas by earthquake in Pakistan.
- It will help user to get knowledge of most affected areas of Pakistan by earthquake.
- It will notify the user of the intensity, magnitude and location of current and previous earthquakes that occur in Pakistan.
- Application will also connect its users.
- Application will allow user to connect with social media application and share information about their safety during earthquake.
