Project Summary

Throughout the world e-commerce business is increasing day by day especially after the pandemic of covid-19. Same goes for Pakistan, there are several websites which are doing e-commerce busines like Daraz.pk, Olx.com, Zameen.com and Closet etc. With the help of these websites people can buy and sale items in which the ownership is transferred from seller to buyer. Only few websites are there which provides the facility of rental services. These websites are for specific purpose not for general purpose. For example, Zameen.com is lending only properties, lands and houses for rent. There are some websites which provides only clothes for rent. In addition to this some websites provides vehicles like cars and motorbikes for rent. Our platform will provide a centralized rental facility for products such as furniture, decoration items, and any event related items etc. The proposed platform will enable people to advertise their belongings for rent and to borrow. People can find their required items on rent and negotiate with the owners. The proposed system will have a web-based application and will enable people to find such items on rent at one platform which will surely be helpful and time saving.

Project Objectives

The project will enable people to rent the goods by using one platform rather than moving from one website to another website. Keeping in mind the above-mentioned platform we have come with the solution. We will provide a platform where vender will register themselves as lender and we as a third party will confirm by some legal procedure that this person is real. Furthermore, borrower will register himself as a customer and then he/she buy the goods it will request to lender for that product after accepting the request now lender has 2 choices.

1. Either he wants to directly connect with the borrower
2.  He/she want to include third party.

Furthermore, by choosing the option 1 he/she responsible for that product. And he/she will not pay commission to that 3rd party means both borrower and lender are independent. If he/she choose 2nd option, then we as a third party follow some legal procedure to both borrower and lender side. And lender must give some commission on the behalf of that product.
