Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe whole world is enabling the use of IOT's and Geo-tagging to smartly monitor, collect dispose, garbage and waste in highly populated urban areas. The project will be able to smartly monitor the status of the dustbins present in a specific town/city. When a certain amount of dustbins will be filled, the contractor will get a notification and then he/she will send the vehicle to collect that garbage through a specific path. The data will be maintained in a database through which we will be able to see the average garbage produced in a specific area/street.

Project Implementation MethodIt is an IOT and Geo-tagging based project in which sensors will be used in a single dustbin telling the status of the dustbin. The contractor and the workers will recieve a notification whenever a dustbin gets full. When a certain amount of dustbins will be full, a path will be created for the vehicles to clean those dustbins.
Benefits of the ProjectIn Pakistan, it will be very efficient project beacuse the waste management system of Pakistan is not so good as they don't maintain any database plus the contractor of the system does not have any idea regarding the status of the dustbins. Through this project, the contractor will be able to keep an eye on the workers as well.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableAn application will recieve information from IOT sensors through a network cloud. The appplication will hold the data, and according to the user's scenario or requirement it will give the notification to all the workers and contractor to clear the bin. Moreover, this application will also manage the database to hold necessary data.
