Project Summary
Recipe Maker and Packing Machine (RMPM) can be used for the packing of different items like sugar, salt etc. Additionally, it can set different recipes with different tastes like ingredients. Users will put the food items in machine and the machine will generate some recipes that are possible with the existing items. If there will not be any valid recipe then user will be informed about this by some alarm or indication. We are going to automate the whole packing and mixing process at commercial level. The RMPM will be commercialize by providing solution to our targeted customers (Utility Stores, Grocery etc.).

Project Implementation Method
PLC
A programmable logic controller is an industrial digital computer used for controlling manufacturing process that require high reliability. It provides the ease of programming and process fault diagnosis. We are using ladder language in our project.
Load Cell
Transducer which converts a force such as tension force into an electrical signal. It consist of four wires two wires for signals and two wires for biasing.
DC Motor
DC motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In this project we used gear motor for the movement of the conveyer. It can be operates on 12 volts.
Conveyer Belt
A continuous moving band of fabric, rubber or metal used for transporting items from one place to another place. In this project we used fabric as a conveyer belt.
Chambers
Chambers are used to receive ingredients (recipe making items). We adjust door at the bottoms of the chambers which can be opened and closed by the PLC.
Load Cell Plate
We adjust a load cell plate on the load cell for accuratly weight measurements. This plate is adjusted under the conveyer belt.
LCD
LCD consists of an array of tiny segments known as pixels that can be manipulated to present information. We use LCD to shows the quantity of ingredients (food making items).
Benefits of the Project
It can be easily operated having simple functions (filling, weighting, mixing and packing). As we can note that by preparing recipe manually, it can cause the bad effect on our health by making the air pollution etc. Therefore, to prevent it we should use recipe making machine which is free from any type of pollution. Since the machine is cheap, it will be affordable for small and medium scale businesses. The inaccuracy in recipe preparation and time consumption will be decreased. It plays an important role in society because it is free from human error because of its automation.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
1. The method mainly concentrates on taking ingredients in a specific quantity as per requirement and processing them to give hygienic recipe.
2. The containers which contain the ingredients are kept on the top of the machine supported by the stand.
3. Each container is programmed to open its door to a certain period of time based on the requirement.
4. These containers are vibrated using the vibrator to open the door.
5. Then we use load cell to weight ingredients according to our requirement.
6. After weighting, our ingredients are sent to the conveyer to reach in mixer by rotating the conveyer in left direction.
7. The mixer mixes all the ingredients to make the recipe which is again sent to the conveyer which rotates in right direction to bring it to the heater for packing.
8. If user does not want to make the recipe then after weighting conveyer rotates in right direction to bring it directly to the heater for packing.
