These are the major issues for vehicle safety and needs proper addressing to minimize
the thefts.
The proposed system would have HD camera attached to the system can be used to provide a real time view of the boundary selected. The system can be connected to the
server via internet and the live view from the parking lot can be transmitted to the server for detecting the displacement of the vehicle. Also, the system will allow the
user to park their vehicle and mark virtual boundary around it using android application. The mark will specify the region of their vehicle and server will deliver alert message if the vehicle is displaced from the specified region.
The main purpose of this project is to maximize the security of vehicles and minimize the theft of vehicles by providing a platform to the users that detects whenever unauthorized displacement of vehicle occurs in real-time.
Another objective is to replace the sensors and uses image processing and artificial intelligence algorithms to automate the parking with footage obtained from the parking lot’s surveillance cameras. These algorithms detect the empty parking spaces and convey the information to the users entering the parking premise.
Furthermore, the main objective of this project is:
- To provide the user the facility to mark a region through the application around the vehicle to secure its position.
- To facilitate users with alert messages (online and offline) when the displacement of their vehicle occurs.
- To provide a platform to users to view availability of parking slots according to their locations.
- To provide the facility to users to find the installed cameras near their location.
Our projects has three main component:
REAL TIME MONTIORING SYSTEM SIDE:
Our project will contain a black box having GSM module, GPS module and a camera integrated
with Raspberry Pi. A port is connected to camera to record video and capture images.
C++/Python will be used on Raspberry Pi for capturing real time images. This raspberry pi
contain an openCV based image processing library. This library is used for performing the
operations on the images while performing vehicle recognition and detection. Using this
OpenCV, we will load images captured by camera. Images will be transfer to server through
GSM module and GPS module is used to detect the location of cameras installed which is sent to
server through GSM module.
WEB APPLICATION:
Web application will be needed for user authentication and registration process Classical PHP
will for server side scripting,
- Detection of availability of parking slots: It will capture and process the rounded image drawn at parking lot and produce the information of the empty car parking spaces.
- Detection for movement of vehicle: We will be using artificial intelligence technique to detect the movement of the vehicle Movement of Vehicle Detection can be done using
APPLICATION SIDE:
- Flutter/React Native will be used for user application. Web service will be used to fetch data. User will have to register and then subscribe for monthly/yearly package in order to avail the services.
- User will have to select option between residence and commercial if the cameras are nstalled in his residence then he would opted for residence or else for any other parking slot he would opted for commercial option
- The user will be able to see the location of cameras installed near his location
- The user will be able to see the availability of parking slots according to his area
- The user will be able to select the camera where he has parked his vehicle and then mark boundary around the vehicle virtually through the app in order to save lock
- The user will receive message for confirmation of safety and will also receive message if the displacement of the car occurs outside the marked region
- Users will be comfortable and more assured avout the security of their vehicles
- Users's time and energy will not be wasted in searching the parking slots
- Users donot have to worry about the day or time and place wherever the cameras are installed
- Users will be able to see live feed od their parked vehicle
1. Android application using flutter and dart language and firebase
database for user to register, to detect camera’s , to view availability of parking slots
according to his/her location and safe lock his/her vehicle
2. Product will be the whole system having :
- hardware which will be containing a black box having GSM module, GPS module and a camera integrated with Raspberry Pi.
- A web application to show the fetching of data from system to server and
- an android application for the user to avail the services having different features as described in the project
