This project proposes better automation in homes. Our system based on an obstacle car survey a home and detect a person by image processing technique it’s also sense a gas leakage and fire by help of sensors. An obstacle car can be done by using Arduino , raspberry pi, also based on the different sensors, which monitor the temperature, gas leakage or fire and detect when nobody at home. This project deals with the design approach of an Embedded Real-Time Security System Based Raspberry Pi which detect a motion and any unknown person detected in camera then obstacle car will notify home owner about unusual activity at home.
Smart appliances, smart homes and smart offices concept increasing day by day because it is low in cost and more secure than traditional security systems. As seen these technology in our project we proposed a smart surveillance and patrolling system to ensure the security of homes. As much is IOT helping in automating tasks, the benefits of IOT can also be extended for enhancing the existing safety standards. The main purpose of this project is to provide safety and security to the home or offices from gas leakage, also fire and theft incidents. Gas leakages results a serious problem in household and other areas where household gas is used, therefore the proposed gas leakage and fire detection that can monitoring system is developed. Almost every year there are many such incidents occurs which not only results in loss of human lives but also burn the goods and valuables which, of course, is a huge financial loss and theft cases are common in our society. So on this system work on real time. In case of emergency, this system will surveillance to home when there is nobody at home, if there is any uncertain condition occur such as person detect, gas leakage or fire detection it will alert the owner of a home immediately. Our project
propose an obstacle car which is divided into different modules such as fire detection, gas leakage and theft detection .This system design on Arduino, which is composed with different sensors, and image processing technique and also using raspberry pi. For the fire detection using a flame sensor, theft detection can be working with raspberry pi and image processing technique, we connect raspberry pi and cameras for security. On the other side when any movement detected in raspberry pi then camera check human presence by image processing. If there is any human detected then the system will notify the owner of home. Also using a Gas Leakage Detector with using gas leakage sensor. On our overall project used a feature of Smart Alerting techniques by using a GSM, and alert to the owner for appropriate authority, as well as the ability to predict emergency conditions so that system can be notified in advance on early stage. A Smart Surveillances and Patrolling System is also ensures the effectiveness and optimal utilization of resources and physical infrastructure.
The system methodolgy is dependent upon these phases:
Phase-1
This our planning and analysis phase called phase I where we will identify our stakeholders (Group members) that will work with us we will gather the requirement according to the given problem statement
Phase-II
This is design phase we will breakdown the task give to our group member and they will complete according to the given time period to achieve our goal
Phase-III
In this which is a coding phase prepare model and understanding the flow of project, Build different structures or with the help of it develop them.
Phase-IV
This is the integration phase, where we integrae all modules together and check the connectivity of all hardware and modules that they are connected well and transmitting data successfully.
Phase-V
In this last phase the project that is the testing phase in which we test all over the project hardware and software connectivity and checking the result of all outputs that they are working appropriately.
Benefits of the ProjectAlmost every year there are many such incidents occurs which not only results in loss of human lives but also burn the goods and valuables which, of course, is a huge financial loss and also robbery cases are taken in homes. Security and safety is a major issue in all domains so in this project we propose idea to resolve the security and safety issues in homes on real-time which is used on IOT based system. The project has designed as a smart surveillance system, it will provide safer environment to home or offices we have proposed smart system to resolve the security and safety issues of homes on real time. The key objective of our project is to resolve and provide security also give easiness to homes on real-time. Our proposed system based on an obstacle car which can survey and monitor home environment, using multiple features that ensure the security and safety and when any uncertain condition occur it will detect of gas leakage, fire and theft incident and take necessary steps. The main module on this project is theft detection which is done with raspberry pi and other modules accuracy done with different sensors and image processing technique, it will alert and notify about emergency situation through Smart Alerting System
Technical Details of Final DeliverableTECHNICAL DETAILS
On this propose work composed in different modules or approaches which is based on fire detection, theft detection, gas leakage detection and GSM automation alert. The whole system working on Arduino board, which is a microcontroller, sensors observe or track the environment if any uncertain condition occur, then sensor sends the reading to the micro controller and its further generate output. It is programmed in Arduino software IDE. It has 54 input or output pins with analog and digital. There is an obstacle car is developed for home surveillance system which can monitor and track home environment or also alert to owner with Smart Automation System. In the previous research and work in all projects there are implement single functionality on system like only theft detection system or fire safety system are installed. But on our working not only detect the fire, gas leakage and theft but after detection it will alert the home owner about the situation occur in home through the GSM module. The system will have some necessary function which it takes in emergency situation to overcome the scenario. To increase accuracy in the result of theft detection it includes not only sensor based theft detection but also implement Artificial Intelligence to recognize theft by image processing. System are used to detect the intruders in home, if any intruders are seen then system send alert message to the owner.
