Project Summary

The aim of our project is to implement a Sensor Based Smart Shelve, the electronically connected shelves which can automatically measure the availability of different types of grocery items and alert the User when the grocery item has reached a predefined threshold level as well as trigger a
replenishing order to a predefined grocery store with the user approval or preauthorized list.

Project Objectives

The smart shelf concept will enable the store executives to:
? Refill stocks from stock room as they get depleted from the store shelf
? Intimate the buying group about the demand and Out of stock situation
? Inform warehouse/Direct shipment vendor for immediate replenishment

Project Implementation Method

  • Implementing sensors on both racks and
    integrating them with Arduino
  • Design intelligent algorithm for further
    processing of Arduino
  • Constructing a communication between leader
    node and Arduino through RF  and then
    between leader node and admin through Internet
  • Implementing sensors on multiple shelves of a
    rack and their network
  • Debugging of the errors as  well

  • SEND DATA TO ADMIN THROUGH WIFI
