Real-Time Family Member Recognition and Intelligent Reader for Visually Impaired People system introduced for low vision people and aiding the blind. The work process includes face detection and face recognition to identify the person who is standing in front of them. The human communication is totally based on speech and text. So visually impaired people can gather information from voice. With the help of this project visually impaired people can read the text present in the captured image. blind People can easily identify their native family members by using their voice. When family members stop talking, it’s quite impossible to identify the man near the blind man. So, here we introduce a Raspberry pi-based system that can easily identify the person in front of the blind man and give audio name information. In this system, we use raspberry pi face recognition, face encoding, and face database creation for family member face recognition. In this Project we use Raspberry Pi Camera and this help to take pictures and that picture is converted into scan image for further process by using Imagemagick software. The output of Imagemagick software is in the form of scanned image this scan image is giving as an input to the Tesseract OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert image into the text. For transformation of text into speech we use TTS (Text to Speech) engine. Experimental results shows that the analysis of different captured images and it will be more helpful to blind people
Reading is necessary everywhere in today’s world whether in the form of bank receipts, restaurant menus or reports. according to World Health Organization disability survey, visually impaired people are 269 million and 45 million people are blind worldwide. The overwhelming most of them board low-income settings. Individuals with visual incapacity are troublesome to talk effectively not only with customary people but in addition to their atmosphere. It’s significantly arduous to want care of their life. Vision impairment individuals forever depend upon the choice person in their day to day works. They need a special quality of understanding a bit, sound, and motion so that they can understand their surroundings. Sometimes they cannot recognize family members whom they already know by using those persons' voices sound when they are not talking. In this device, we want to help the blind man by recognizing family members and giving audio name information. Figure 3 shows the basic block diagram of our proposed family member recognition system. It contains a Raspberry Pi camera, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, power source, a headphone. Pi camera grabs the video frame and sends it to the processor Raspberry pi. Raspberry Pi is the main section where family member recognition is performed. It also produces associated audio name information and sends it to the blind man's ears via headphones.

•In this Project work, we were able to recognize family members of a blind man and give the blind individual audio name information. It is a series of work to give the blind man a complete module that can provide all the necessary information.
• In the project, we showed both the hardware and software architecture of the smart blind glass. We apply it in real-time and the system was able to recognize family members with satisfactory efficiency.
•so that, we can provide the blind man an effective device that can provide all necessary information of day to day life
•In this Smart Reader for Blind people, the design and development of a working model gives a smart reading help for the Blind and Visually Impaired people.
The proposed system helps blind persons to read printed text on products which appears in front of the camera through the earphone. In addition, it also helps them to detect the obstacle to prevent them from falling. It can build self-confidence and can give a better life to the blind users as they become selfdependent for day to day requirements
