In this era of E-commerce, Robotics and Industrial Automation, the industries are seeking some research and logistics projects which can reduce their labor cost and create a human-less environment in their warehouses. Hence, we are designing a mobile warehouse bot that has the highly automated picking system and is a QR-Guided Vehicle (QRGV) which could not only reduce the walk time and labor cost but improve efficiency. This proposal will demonstrate us the picking system, design optimization about task allocation and path planning of our robot

Project Objectives

To automate the industrial warehouses.

To meet the goal of the human-less environment in the warehouses.

To reduce the business cost but also elevate the efficiency and productivity rate.

To reduce the mishandling of the items

To use this bot as well as for those restricted industrial areas where human access can be vulnerable.

Project Implementation Method

systems and collision- avoidance system that could quickly detect other objects including human beings appeared around the robot, and also can quickly stop the QRGV in order to avoid a collision, which would make the whole system collapses, and minimize any risk to its employees.

One is designed to read the bar code at the bottom of the mobile rack in order to help QRGV to make information identification.

Second is designed on the bottom of the robot for the sake of helping the car to read a bar

code on the road to identifying the route of running.

Benefits of the Project

The QRGV bots are designed to meet the goal of human-less environment in the warehouses. It is fully automated picker robot which will not only reduce the business cost but also elevate the efficiency and productivity rate.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

QRGV autonomous mobile robot’s apparatus will come up with the following technical deliverables:

One, designed to read the bar code at the bottom of the mobile rack in order to help QRGV to make information identification.

Two, designed on the bottom of the robot for the sake of helping the car to read a barcode on the road to identifying the route of running.
