Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe system is based on the short message service (SMS) to ensure security against gas leaks to users, making it cheaper and more adaptable. The system consists of sensor to detect gas leaks interconnected to the microcontroller that warn the user whenever a gas leak occurs. Show warning information using an LED/LCD, send a text message to the user to inform him and turn off gas supply auto. This will allow the user to take precautions before an explosion disaster that can result in a gas leak such as loss of property, injury or death. We offer an ideal solution for gas leakage problems faced by homeowners in everyday life.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to provide novel safety to humans and asset.
To use sensor for natural gas leakage detection
To design automatic Arduino base device for natural gas leakage detection.
The device will show an alert message on LED blinking display along with buzzer activation.
Reduce the wastage of gas.
Overcome the chances of fatal disaster.
Project Implementation MethodWe decided to make a Natural gas leakege detector (QGRD) which is used to sense the gas in closed areas and infrom user quickly.Gas sensor is used to detect the gas and send the data to microcontroller which check tha data and take actions against that value.by sending info to GSM to send text alerts to user also send info to electronic Relay to turn off supply of Gas and alarn the buzzer show the data on LCD.
Benefits of the ProjectLow power consumption and reliable.
The advantage this has over other is that it provides quick response rate and faster diffusion of the critical situation then the manual methods
The system enables monitoring of gas leakage in closed area and hereby leads to a faster response time in events of a leakage condition
- It is possible to get instantaneous result with higher accuracy so important precautions taken.
