This is where Proven comes in.
Proven, is an innovative fitness-based competitive social network which caters to the competitive side everyone has, especially in the fitness genre, to motivate them into becoming more physically active by allowing them to create and participate in fitness competitions, and in doing so not only gaining XPs (Experience Points) and self-satisfaction but also using it as an opportunity to prove their skills and to potentially attract admirers/clients from across the globe, in the process. Proven can be thought of as an amalgamation of Instagram, LinkedIn, and a fitness software.
So far, there has been no such fitness software that not only serves as a Social Network but also provides its users with a platform to actively create and compete in challenges and gain XPs, without being part of a group. Thus, using Competition & Gamification as a motivating force, Proven aims to prevent sedentary lifestyle risks from society. Thus the time spent on this innovative software solution will definitely pay off in the long run, because Health is Wealth.

The objectives of our Android-powered software solution are:

The Project Implementation Roadmap consists of a number of stages, starting with the Research & Requirement Gathering phase where we review the current software applications and look for gaps that are currently being anticipated by the fitness enthusiasts. After careful analysis of the requirements, we came with a unique feature of providing challenge creation & participation support that would eventually lead towards gaining XPs and attracting admirers/clients from across the globe. Then we shift focus towards the design aspect of the software solution by designing a UI Prototype in Adobe XD and creating the Logical Design (the UML and the SRS). During the development phase, all the modules are implemented via code in Android Studio. After proper Testing & Verification, we end up with a final deliverable which is an MVP version of the Proven software platform.

The final deliverable is an Android-powered software solution that hosts the following features:
1. Fitness-based Challenge Creation & Participation Support
- The user can either upload (create) a new challenge or participate in an existing one.
- The video of the creator & participant will be uploaded to the Firebase Storage and will be visible to other users.
2. Challenge Level Identification
- The ML (Machine Learning) based algorithm will decide for which level-user a certain challenge is suitable for.
- It will not only consider the individual exercise difficulty, repetitions, and duration but also the complete workout (a workout can have more than one exercise move) as a whole.
3. User Profile Builder
- Based on the challenges the user has participated in, a complete user profile along with user-level and XPs (Experience Points) will be maintained.
4. Response Evaluation
- The crowd will decide whether a participant has completed the challenge or not.
- If a dispute arises while evaluating a response video, the Proven moderator will step in.
5. XPs & User Level Ups
- Just like games, the more challenges user successfully participates in, the more XPs they will earn thus leading to level-ups.
6. User Newsfeed
- The users can find new and trending workout challenges on their newsfeed.
- On a specific post (post is a challenge created by another user) in the newsfeed, the user can leave a ‘Like’, ‘Comment’ or ‘Respond’ on it.
