Proteomics is one of the promising field of BME which exclusively deals with the study of proteins.
Proteins are of significance importance as they not only constitute our body but also are vital to our life, as change in sequence of amino acid or in structural configuration leads to different diseases including cancer. Study of Protein at cellular level will help us to understand its activities. Our project deals with the implementation of neural network in protein with the help of which we will extract features of protein.

Project Objectives
•TO FIND PERCENTAGE OF ALPHA HELIX IN SECONDARY STRUCTURE OF PROTEIN USING MACHINE LEARNING.
Project Implementation Method
- we will use database of protein already availableif
- we will train the data base
- then testing will be performed
- we will use 2 different algorithms of supervised machine learning
- compare the result of two algoritms in terms of detecting the aplha helix in secondary structure
Benefits of the Project
PROTEIN IDENTIFICATION IS A MAJOR TASK OF PROTEOMIC LAB WHICH TAKES A LOT OF TIME SO TO REDUCE THE TIME AND MEN EFFORT WE ARE FINDING THE PERCENTAGE OF ALPHA HELIX IN SECONDARY STRUCTURE OF PROTEIN USING MACHINE LEARNING.
