Dymanic voltage restorer are used to mitigate sag and swell of voltage at distribution system due to addition of large capacitive and inductive load and also used to reduce harmonics of voltage it spend most of the time in stand by mode and mitigate voltage sag and swell only at the time it occurs and also reduce the harmonics. It is used to inhance the power quality. It is used in real time application e.g on a grid station.

Project Objectives

To detect and compassionate sag and swell of voltage (A.C) and also reduce harmonic to improve the power quality.

Project Implementation Method

1.Simulation on MATLAB simulink and compare it with the traditional system.

2.hardware implementation.

3.real time integration of the system.

Benefits of the Project

1.mitigate voltage sag in the distribution system.

2.mitigate voltage swell in the distribution system.

3.reduce harmonic.

4.improve power quality in the distribution system.

5. It Operates only when fault occur otherwise remains in stand by mode.
