It has been giving challenges to conventional principles, which becomes insufficient to drive the success of the organization in terms of manage to the business specially sales of their company  that’s all depends on their market employees that are directly impacts on sales. For that reason nowadays, different strategies are deployed by businessmen to cover and monitor a large area of the market to get high market sales. In this era, Employee management strategy is playing a vital role in business. Especially for pharmaceutical Companies, they are interested in sales of their employee in a particular town not only sale but also interested in tracking their employees. Basically, they want to get every information regarding their employee like whether employees visiting the doctor or not and if they visiting to doctor than what product he is telling about on what time he is visiting to doctor whether he is completing doctor target or not and how much doctor is covered by him in a particular month. Employee management has to be an integrated company effort and be implemented throughout the entire company to be successful. For that, sales representatives are trying to develop a relationship with all the stakeholders viz. Doctor, Stockiest, and Retailers i.e. Chemist. Ultimately we want to make an app-based solution in which companies can get easily manage their employees on a web. These all management could be done in our application.

Project Objectives

The Pharmaceutical companies is playing a vital role to sustain the economic development of a country. Our aim is to provide the solution to the pharmaceutical companies to manage and monitor their field force effectively and efficiently, to enhance the performance of their field force, to keep an eye on the day to day activities which will ensure the transparency of their work. Currently the pharmaceutical companies are facing problem in managing and monitoring their field force because they are doing it manually each and everything which they are supposed to do on daily, weekly, and on monthly basis. i.e.  Daily Updates, Weekly and monthly tour plans, making expenses, to update the Doctor and Chemist list, so it will be hectic for the management and the field force to do these thing manually. Our App will give them facility to do these all things through our app which will be very easy for them. Our app is not only help in maintaining the record, plans, and schedules but it will also help the companies to track the location of their field force, it will also enable the whole field force including the management and the medical representative to record their visits to the doctor and chemist in to the app, and to record the promotional material as well like samples, gifts and literatures. The manager will be able to check where his/her team is working currently and to which Doctors and chemist they are meeting, therefore the manager will have the complete information about his/her team.  Moreover, it will shows the sales of each brick which will help the medical representatives and the managers to know from where they are getting their sales, and which brick is on the top and which brick is low.  We will assign RFID bar code reader to each doctor clinic that the medical representative will only scan the RFID bar code the time he visited the doctor, Our system will keeps the Doctor name, location, current mobile date and time. And record will be automatically will be recorded in our system.

Project Implementation Method

This Project has two main parts, one is website for upper management (Business Manager (BM), Product Manager (PM), Sales Manager(SM), Regional Manager (RM)) so we will develop it in React and the other part is the mobile App for This app will be Android App. So, we will develop in java language. We will use our own decentralized database.

This system has basically two parts. One is a website dashboard for upper management (BM, PM, SM, RM) and other is a mobile App which is for Medical Representative and also upper management. Following block diagram shows all the options for both.

When medical representative login from application he/she first see to doctors target and went to doctor one by one when he/she reached their so first thing he/she will do to scan RF id based barcode that early pharmaceutical company assigned to doctor clinic after the scanning the upper management will be notify the location doctor name current date and time location wise this make sure his/her job.

Following are defined the brief of modules that used in our mobile application.

Dashboard of Mobile App:

All the sales related information or overall summery of his/her daily monthly quarterly and yearly sales of the product that comes from the web that assign by sales department through web application.

Scheduled History:

Medical representative will add the doctor if the targeted doctors are busy than he/she will add doctor by his/her self. 

Scheduled Reporting:

In Scheduled reporting doctor company assigned doctor will be shown according to territory wise.

 Unscheduled Reporting: All the doctor show here.

Analytic:

Basically analytics module is divided into two sub module first one is sales module (that shows sales of the employees monthly quarterly and annually wise).while the second one is Expense Report generation (expense report of medical reparative will be generated).

Map View: Shows the exact location of medical representative and also of upper management because some time upper management will also do field force work like vising to doctor with their team.

The user of the application are Business manager, Product manager, Sales manager Regional manager and medical representative remember this app work on top to bottom  hierarchy means upper management can be manage to lower management in the application.

Benefits of the Project

The main goal of the project is to provide ease to monitor the employee. This system has basically two parts. One is a website dashboard for upper management (BM, PM, SM, RM) and other is a mobile App which is for Medical Representative and also upper management. We will provide App based and web based solution to keeps each and every record related to medical representative. Our system will allow the medical representative to Scan barcode reader which will show the exact location of the doctor. Our system would also be able to schedule the detail history of employees, and it will also be able to demonstrate the scheduled and unscheduled reporting of the doctors. At last our system would be able to generate the overall monthly expense reports of the employees.

And the second part of our system will manage the upper manager i.e. Business manager, Product manager, Sales manager and Regional manager, which keeps eye on the Medical representative. Business manager dashboard keeps all the record of the product manager and list of product Assigned, and also record all sales of products. Product manager dashboard keeps all the record of the Sales manager and Sales of territory wise, and also put sales Data. Regional manager dashboard keeps all the record of the Medical Representative and Sales of territory wise, and also put sales Data in his dashboard.

There is no such type of App-based system and Web-based where they provide platform for both Medical representative and upper management. In market, some companies have their own online App system but our system will be centralized system where we centralize all Pharmaceuticals companies.

These are the edge of our system and our solutions would be different than other by the following ways basically these are the gaps of other system.

      1.   Next Visit Notification

1. Call frequency status of each doctor in the list.
2. Chemist feedback record
3. GPS does not provide the exact location only provide the nearby location of the doctor but, We will assign RFID bar code reader  to each doctor that the sales representative will only scan the RFID bar code The time he visit the doctor, Our system will keeps the Doctor name, location, current mobile date and time.
4. Product Trade price, MRP, per piece and same information of competitors as well.
5. Expense Reports Generation.
