Many students face the problem of selecting the field of their interest when they are about to enter the university and remained confused, due to which they end up selecting a bad field for themselves. Due to lack of interest, they had to leave that program and waste a year of time, money, and energy.

By considering this problem, we are going to propose a solution in the form of a Web application called Pathfinder.

This web application will help fresh students of the university to decide their correct career field according to their skills and interest.

In this Web application user will be provided with some simple multi-choice questions by which the program will calculate the required result and provide matching fields of interest in a particular selected university. Other than students, parents can also use this application to find out their children’s interested fields.

Project Objectives

A career at pathfinder, our mission is to a relationship with every individual student and their parents within our provider of choices on their interest base purpose, which means we strive to work with students who want to make a successful career. That's the policy of pathfinder to provide the best opportunity to all the students. No wastage of time and no stress. Students can easily get the best solution for their careers. Investing in your career and future is important. Knowing what kind of degree will set you up for success is important.

Project Implementation Method

-The first step of implementation will be the date collection ad paperwork.

- Second step will be the logic building of the system

-In the third step we will make the UI design of the web application

- In the fourth step web the application will be build using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

- Our fifth step will be buying a hosting and Domain

- Sixth step will be uploading and publishing Web application on the Internet.

- At this point web Application will be ready to use by the students.

Benefits of the Project

-First of all, it saves the students time, money, and life by solving their problem of choosing the correct field in university.

-This application is very helpful for students.

-By using this web application students will be acknowledged that what actually they like.

-It also solves the parent's problem of knowing in which field their child is interested. Its benefits are to save time but actually, it saves the student's future career.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In this project, we are going to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to build this Web application.

 In the end, it will be a free and user-friendly Web application that will allow every person to have complete benefit out of it.
