Pakistan Student Portal is a platform that will notify students with all the updates regarding the enrollment process of different Universities/Degree Colleges of Pakistan.  This platform will free students from the hassle of wasting their time searching for different institutions to pursue their desired field of study in and will allow them to quickly get information about different institutions, register for Entrance Tests, and apply for Degree Programmes, all in one place. Students who have already been through this process can earn through this platform by providing online assistance to other students.

Statement of the problem:

Majority of students in Pakistan, after completing their colleges, do not know about the field of studies that they can further pursue. Due to being ill-informed about study disciplines, a student’s choice is often confined to a few major fields. The time gap between Intermediate examination and Entrance Test for different Universities/Degree Colleges is short due to which some students are not able to check and register for tests that might be preferable by them. Students often miss out the opportunity of applying in their desired field of study due to being unaware of Entrance Test registration deadlines and this leads to wastage of a whole year.

             A common question among students before applying for Universities/Degree Colleges and Degree Programs is that whether the institution they are applying to is accredited by authorities like HEC, PEC, PMDC etc. or not. This question is usually answered after the student is enrolled in the institution, which is a bit late for the student.

           Students also need to go bank for depositing fee for every entry test every time.Suppose a student applies for 10 universites or medical collages so he/she will need to go to specfic (different bank for diiferent insitutes).We will try to solve this problem by providing effective solution so they do not have to need to go to different banks and by sitting at home he/she can apply and pay easily all regestration fee.

Project Objectives

The objective of Pakistan Student Portal is to inform students about all the details, required for them to continue their studies in different institutions after Intermediate level, at a single place. Students try to reach out to other people with similar experiences in the past using social media platforms, but the advice is often not clear.  This platform will try to tackle the problem by giving exact information about tests and institutions. Students waste a lot of their time trying to find websites of Universities/Degree Colleges and manually filling forms. This problem can easily be solved by integrating all the forms in a single place and through automation, the forms can be filled in a matter of seconds.

Also we will provide a online wallet through which student can deposit their money through any bank or easypesa and when any university ask student to deposit fee in bank our system will pay the fee and deduct the money from student wallet.In this way student will not go to any bank or we can say different banks for different institues and by easily sitting in home he/she can get advantage.

Steps Involved

1. Every user will have his/her own profile on this platform through which they will be able to access all the features and assistance provided by Pakistan Student Portal.
2. Guidance for the admission process and information about universities of Pakistan such as UET, NUST, KMU, Quaid-i-Azam University, LUMS etc. is to be provided on mobile application and website.
3. Past papers and Model papers from previous Entrance Tests like ETEA, NTS, MCAT, ECAT, LAT etc. will be available to students on the website and application so that they can prepare for the pattern of the test.
4. Notify students about application deadlines so that they do not miss out any opportunity.
5. Personal information of the student and the documents required by institutions for registration purposes are to be stored in a database so that the user can apply for different tests and Universities/Degree Colleges with just a few clicks.
6. Task automation will ensure that students will not have to fill out application forms each time they want to apply for a test/institute.
7. Students will be able to earn through Pakistan Student Portal by assisting other students with course-related material.
8. All information about the institues such as its culture its environment,hostels,recognition by HEC,PEC will be available.
9. Alumni from institues will guide about their careers by providing their services.Enrolling Students in institutes will also provide coaching about their career choice which is too much important in this era.
10. We wil have the online wallet through which students can desposit money through easypesa or any bank.The security will be concerned most in this case.We will have sevaral banks so that when student will apply for institue and bank ask to deposit money we will automatically desposit money from our similat bank(say institute bank is NBP and out bank is also NBP).In this way we can save transaction charges and can provide alomost cost free transaction to student.

• Accreditation status of Universities/Degree Colleges will allow students to pursue their studies in recognized institutes.
• Student will not have to go to the different banks for regestration
• Students will choose their field of interest by taking helps from alumuni and enrolling students in their desire institues.
• Task automation will fill majority of general fields in entry form(like name ,father name cnic etc) so student do not need to fill each and every field every time 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

There will be an android app and the website named Pakistan Student Portal 

             User will first sign up to register details such as email username and password. Then we will authenticate using FIREBASE(Google real time database) authentication.Then user can use our services.In order to complete the form automatically he will provide us all the information which will be required for every institute.

            User can define his choices,in which fields in which he is interested so that notification will appear of their their interest regarding every institutes entry test.

             By clicking apply button in notification student will be directed to institute website (if there else form will be downloaded in his device) and majority of the information will be filled by our system automatically and user will just fill some specific information.

              Regarding each institute alumni,graduating students which are willing to help students, information will be given so that student can contact them in case of career counseling.

                Online free and paid preparation material links to different lectures and exercise  and advertizment of the acedmies will available.
