As the demand for commercial deliveries increases within cities, companies face a fundamental limitation in surface road capacity. Drone delivery aims to overcome that limitation by exploiting the vertical dimension above city streets. This report explores the vehicle design aspects of the delivery drone problem, including flight efficiency, energy consumption, noise, and safety, which are central to the viability of delivery drones. Importantly, such design aspects also speak to the potential scalability of the concept.

Package Delivery Drone is autonomous vehicle used to transport package, medical supplies, Food, or other goods. Drone may be remotely piloted or autonomous.

Project Objectives

1. Reduce delivery time

Delivery drones will reduce the delivery time because they travel by air.

2. Reduce Cardon emissions

Since drones operates on Lithium batteries, they don not emit harmful gases into atmosphere.

3. Reduce Cost

Drones operational cost is less than other delivery vehicles because they operate on rechargeable batteries.

4. Unmaned Delivery

Since drones are UAVs, They will be more preferable in satuations where people do not want any human contact.

5. To minimize the percentage of unsuccessful delivered packages

Project Implementation Method

1. A drone is required, which can lift weight. It will be used to take the package to the desired destination. Once it delivers the package, an automatic return to        home function will take the drone back to its launch point.

2. A Ground Control Station will monitor the drone flight, if any assistance needed during autonomuos flight.
