Social gatherings are very common nowadays. A place with such a gathering is quite vulnerable. With high participation, security becomes a high priority concern.
Digital Image Processing (DIP) is a very promising field and many miracles have been created using this technology. Cameras nowadays are much powerful in terms of surveillance. It is nearly impossible for any number of people to identify and locate each person attending an event. In this context, there is a desiring need for an automate person detection system. All these security problems can be solved by developing a comprehensive system. ORB is a one-word solution to such security concerns.
Technology has changed almost every aspect of human life to an unbelievable extent. And the security of human lives is a concern that can never be overlooked. No one can ever be too careful in terms of security.
ORB is developed to automate security and to provide a security solution by using technological advancements with the following main objectives:
To build a security system that can easily identify each participant of an event.
To make the presence of all participants secure enough.
To make a security system that is easy to use for almost everyone.
Find a participant with respect to his nearest locating camera
To make the event as smooth as possible for participants as well as guests

Receive the information of participants and guests (Name, CNIC, PHOTO, etc.)

Identifying the Person
Get live video of the entrance through a CCTV camera and give it to the system.
Apply facial landmark on the image received from the video.
Detect the face region from the facial landmark.
Compare the detected face with the registered image in the database and determine the confidence index.
State whether the person is identified or not (confidence > 80).
Generate a welcome message and location details on the person’s mobile application.
Locate the Person
Select a person to locate.
Apply facial landmark on the live video feed of each camera.
Detect the face region from the facial landmark.
Compare the detected face with the selected person image from the database and determine the confidence index.
State whether the person is identified or not (confidence > 80).
If the person is identified in any camera, give the location of that camera to the admin.
The human efforts are reduced to a bare minimum level.
With such low human dependencies, the chances of errors are minimized a lot.
The efficiency and smoothness of the whole process are increased exponentially.
Security is dealt with almost no windows for failures or risks.
This system has a large scope for the events happening at any place since it handles the event security and smoothers people participation.
It is a lot portable and easy to use the system for any person having a basic knowledge of computer usage.
The proposed solution states that multiple cameras be implanted on multiple important locations. The camera planted at the entrance of the event will provide input to the system which will help to identify each person. The other cameras implanted will help in the overall video coverage and enable the admin to locate a specific person if he/she is in the range of that camera.
Dividing a project into phases makes it possible to lead it in the best possible direction.
It will divide the total workload of the project, by dividing its components. As there first comes the idea of the project and then leads it to the implementation.
