Project Summary

This project is like an e- bookstore website where secondhand books( those books which are already used from the senior students) from class ix to xii. New comer students can be bought from the comfort of home through the Internet at very low cost.This project is also workable for lower classes , But I can’t implement for lower classes.Because majority of lower classes students are don’t know about the usage of internet. An online bookstore is a virtual store on the Internet where student can browse the catalog and select books of interest. User can select many books and those books stored in cart. At checkout time, the items in the shopping cart will be presented as an order. At that time, more information will be needed to complete the transaction. Usually, the customer will be asked to fill the basic details or select a billing address, a shipping address, a shipping option, and payment information such as credit card number.This project is like an e- bookstore website where secondhand books( those books which are already used from the senior students) from class ix to xii. Project Objectives

1. User:
   1. Registration: User need to register first with their basic registration details and need to create a valid login id and password.
   2. Login: Using valid login credentials, user need to login into the system in order to access the system.
   3. View Books: Once user is logged into the, he/she may view all the added books with their details.
   4. Buy Books: User can surf various book of their choice and buy them.
   5. Add Books: System allows user to sell their books online buy added the book name and its details.
   6. Upload Books: User need to upload a book if he/she wants to sell a book.
   7. My Orders: All the purchase history of user will be displayed with details.
   8. View Buyer: If any buyer is interested in buying a book or anyone buys a book from the user then buyer’s details will be displayed.

1. Admin:
   1. Login: Using valid login credentials, admin need to login into the system in order to access the system.
   2. View Books: Admin can view all the added books online with their details.
   3. View Transaction: System allows admin to view all the transaction details of buying and selling a book.

                   4. View User:  All the registered user     details will be displayed to the admin.

Project Implementation Method

The Project is loaded in Visual Studio. We used Visual Studio for the Design and coding of the project. Created and maintained all databases into SQL Server, in that we create tables, write a query for
store data or record of the project.
As my project is an e-commerce site through this website where students can find usable books with affoardable price.

Benefits of the Project

1. Customers can get their book delivered instead of actually going and buying the book.
2. Customers can buying books at very low cost instead of purchasing new books.
3. Feasibility of making payment online itself.
4. Managing of inventory of the books for user becomes easier as customers are not visiting and ordering it online.
5. This system saves both time and travelling cost of customers .
6. User can get to know different kinds of books that they were unaware of by just searching in the system using keywords.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

ORUB (Online Re-Usable Books) is a web-based project if we divide its technical development into different parts its major parts are as follows:

1. Prototyping: The initial phase after the communication, requirements gathering, and planning is prototyping. For the prototyping of Adobe XD has been used. Adobe XD is the all-in-one UX/UI
solution for designing websites, mobile apps, and more
2. Web Development: For the development of ONRUB website technologies used are PHP, MySQL, JQary (For back end development), HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap Javascript  (For frontend
Designing).
3. Creating Databases: For every project, we need some data and for its storage and management different databases are used. For the same purpose, we need to create a database that will
manage our project-related data.
