Communication is deeply ravelled with human existence. In personal life, we communicate to deal with certain concerns and problems of daily life. In professional life also, it is communication that helps us to build healthy relations with other sapiens, kinships with kins and credibility with co-workers. Unfortunately, people exist among us with certain disabilities with whom we face problems while communicating or are completely unable to communicate. One of them are hearing impaired people. Sign language is the most natural and expressive way for them. Normal people never try to learn sign language for interaction with deaf people which leads to the isolation and segregation of deaf people. If a system is such programmed that it can translate sign language to regular ordinary text than we can get rid of this communication barrier.

In our project the main idea is that, deaf and blind people sign recongination(Gestures)

For example that the people who are deaf they are present sign and computer is able to tell what they are wanted to say in thier language.

±There are 1 billion plus disable people in the world:

±Out of them 6% effect by deafness and blinds

±17% are effected by blindness and visual imparement

±3 to 6 % has and intellectual disablilty

Project Objectives

The chief purposes of the system are to minimize the communication gap between deaf-dumb people and regular people, and to make this communication process possible without any third-party aid like sign language interpreters. Indirectly, the system will also intensify the quality of life by providing social equality due to better communication of hearing-impaired people with rest of society. The system will also intensify the quality of life of these special people by providing them social equality due to better communication with society.

Project Implementation Method

There are hundreds of amazing ways artificial intelligence is used behind the scenes to impact our daily routines. Artificial intelligence refers to simulation of human like intellect to do rational decisions and to mimic human like actions for efficient work. In today’s world artificial intelligence is assisting us in many fields whether we are trying to read emails, get driving directions, get movie or music recommendation in fact from phone digital assistant to smart autonomous product manufacturing, artificial intelligence is now intertwined. If we have any type of reservations about artificial intelligence, it may be comforting to know that most of us have been using it on daily basis for years. Adopting to similar trend our project will be using techniques of artificial intelligence particularly deep learning, computer vision and natural language processing to accomplish the task.

Benefits of the Project

Project will yield machine learning inference models which can be used in websites and open source APIs but end product will be an android application with functionality of real-time hand gestures recognition of sign language.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

±We are going to develope our project for the Global/ Universal Level’s User

±There are already exist some solutions for that problem, but all of them are for region level.

±We are going to develope our project by using some advanced and updated techniques.
