It is a research-based project in which we need to do the simulation of the air passing through the roughened solar air heater. We need to check how the geometry pattern varies the flow and how it changes the Nusselt Number of the stream on different Reynold Numbers.
Numerical Study to Investigate Heat and Fluid Flow Characteristics of a Roughened Solar Air Heater
It is a research-based project in which we need to do the simulation of the air passing through the roughened solar air heater. We need to check how the geometry pattern varies the flow and how it changes the Nusselt Number of the stream on different Reynold Numbers.
The objective of the project is to publish the research paper in the journal with a good impact factor so that the researchers in the future can cite our work.
The project is implemented by using the software ANSYS available in the computer lab of our university. First, the geometry was made then the mesh was created. The boundary condition then applied to get the results. The work is in progress, and the mesh independence test will be done.
Solar Air Heaters have a wide application in the field. Solar Air Heaters are used for drying purposes of the crops. With the simulation, we can find out which geometry is suitable for this purpose.
The project is result-based, and the research paper will be written at the end of the project.
