Project Summary

Our application named “Necto” would open up the earning facilities for the Chefs & delivery boys, linked with third party the clients who would cherish healthy and home-cooked goodies. Not only will Necto provide entrepreneurs with a golden opportunity to set up a business in the electronic market, it will also set a stage where people can actively socialize with each other without fear of violation of their right to privacy. Chef and delivery boys would get registered by setting their profiles. Customer has option to sign up or direct order food from nearby places because this application show customer, chefs and rider’s location with delivery time i.e. when you download this application it shows three panels i.e. you are a customer, chief or delivery guy and then proceed. They can contact each other through chat which is new feature of our application. Customer could contact chef and ask them what kind of food do they want and also can chat with deliver guy as well. In profile contact numbers of chef & delivery boy are given in case (emergency), customer could direct contact to them.

It is an Android Application and uses Android Studio and Firebase (as database). This System works on one of most important Entity i.e. Google map from which location of chef and delivery boy would be shown to customers. Java would be basic language which would be used in formation of this application. Our project would be different in a sense that we would provide a platform for entrepreneur almost free of cost. Secondly there is no application in Pakistan for such purpose. Thirdly, we could raise the standards of food quality as well, by monitoring the check on quality and feed backs from customers. We are moving with the current technology, which we think is a good approach to compete in modern era.

This document is for software engineers, developers and coders of the application. In this document almost complete information about the functional and non-functional requirements are listed along with the design and feature dependencies. For developers it is suggested to read the functional and non-functional requirements, for software engineers it is advised that they should go through all the document to completely know about the system and improve it accordingly.

  Necto consists of following users,

• The Admin: - He would be controlling all the network follow for security purpose. As it is necessary for people connected with the network.  
• Chef: - He would login into his portal and update his menu by posting his current dishes.
• Delivery boy: - He would be called when an order would be ready.one would be already login in his portal for the time being he wants to.
• Client: - He could possibly order directly without an account as well as through account by searching for the chef. After that he would look for delivery boy nearby chef location and book the ride.

Our application would be Android based because according to startcounter report, over the January 2018 to January 2019 period Android made up a massive 74.45% of the sector besides other. We are moving with the current technology, which we think is a good approach to compete in modern era.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The total Application would completed in 8 months. All the phases would be described below in PROJECT KEY MILESTONE.
