The term blindness is used for complete or nearly complete vision loss.An estimated 253 million people live with vision impairment from which 36 million are blind and 217 million have moderate to severe vision impairment(WHO).
My- Eyes, a universal voice control solution for non-visual access to the Android operating system. The application will have an audio interface i.e. it will communicate with the User via speech. The application will be activated by pre-defined gestures or voice commands. The user then would have to point the Camera in an arbitrary direction. The application would then be able to detect the environment via camera and will recognize distinct objects using implemented Logical models. After tagging the object the app will respond to the user depending on the user’s command i.e A user may ask to find an object in a surrounding or a user just wants to know what’s ahead him. The app will respond in both the scenarios.
Our project is to aid the blind people by using an Android Smartphone.
Our Application is based on Android and mainly work with the camera of Smartphone.By the camera the user can find the objects around them the application identify it by the voice of smartphone or user can give the command to find any object by rotating the camera all over the environment.
To create applications to guide a visually impaired person. The applications should run on a smartphone. The aim was to cooperate with the end users who should affect the development.First, the current applications were studied. The emphasis is on applications which help a visually impaired to move around using the phone. The aim was to find new ways to guide. Android Studio will be used. There will be new code created, especially when measuring distances using only one camera.It will be interesting to see whether these can be applied in this project.
The blind and the visually impaired person face various kinds of life challenges that normally sighted people take for granted. The main aim is to develop software application based on Android Smartphone for the visually impaired person. The main module is to recognize objects dynamically using camera. The application would detect objects at runtime which means the user would not have to take pictures to process different scenarios but would only have to point the camera to an arbitrary direction. Recognized object in image or videos is communicated to blind user by speech synthesizers.
Firstly we take the several surveys and visit the related to the organizations that deal the visually impaired people.More over sessions with blind kids were also conducted and collect the heuristic information related to the behaviours.
Implementation begans on very first module that is to find the objects on android smart phones for that we use android studio which was completed in four months and second module is in progress.

Application MY EYE wil help the visually disabled people in convinient way so that it may be easy to lead the daily routine. it may help to know their surrounding and make it easy for them to find the things that they need around them only by giving the particular command.
Application will be deliever on the smart phone.
The application is expected to perform well with following configurations of a Smartphone after successful installation of the application.
RAM: 3GB or more.
Camera Resolution: 12 Mega Pixels.
Android Version: 8.1 or above.
Blending Voice recognition and Object detection would be challenging for the whole team.
