This project will be a Mobile application, will be developedto provide the facility of finding jobs easily through it. This application will do web scraping to gather huge amount of data from other job portals like rozee.pk, indeed.com, monster.com etc. and will present this data on its own user interface. The application will also notify the user about new jobs and user will be able to set reminders for a specific job. The application will allow the user to create a profile and the app will recommend jobs according to the profile of the user. Every user will receive the job according to his or her profile.

Project Objectives

The main objective of this application is to provide a platform to the users to easily find a job advertisement most suitable for them. Unlike other apps, this app will provide a huge amount of data from different portals so that user not have to visit all those portals separately. This application will recommend jobs to the users according to their profile. 

Project Implementation Method

The project will be implemented using React Native development environment so that the application can run on both Android and iOS. JavaScript will be used to scrape data from different websites. Firebase will be used as database to store data.In the very first step the data will be scraped from different websites and stored in the database. Then this data will be represented in the interface of the application where user can search different types of job by applying the filter feature, which contains specific filters like job title, salary, city, experience etc. This application also contain google maps to help the users locate the site of the employer. Application will recommend the jobs according to the profiles of the users. Like any application this application will also have a registration and authentication module to register the new users and an admin to handle old and new accounts. 

Benefits of the Project

This project will provide a huge set of jobs to the user where they can search jobs according to the specialties. The application will scrape data form different websites so the biggest benefit of the application is that the user will not need to visit all those websites but the user can find it on this single platform.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The application is a React Native mobile application, which will run on both Android and iOS. The application will do web scraping using JavaScript, then the scrapped data will be filtered according to the requirement of the user. Firebase will be used as the database for this project. Admin panel will be created to handle the overall working of the project and to save user’s data.
