Project Summary

The problems that the HR team face while shortlisting candidates CV are very time consuming and involves
lots of human efforts. This manual approach sometimes even give rise to human errors. So using our proposed system both efforts and time can be reduce in CV shortlisting process along with increase in effiency and accuracy. Considering all the features of our system will definitely prove beneficial to organization and save some precious time and efforts of their HR department.

Project Objectives

1. To collect data from linkedin.

2. To sign up and sign in by HR and candidate .

3. To fill out form by candidate and upload cv as pdf.

4. To set criteria of form by HR.

5. To short list candidates and ranked after deadline is over.

6. To show rank to candidate.   

Project Implementation Method

We have started project from gathering data from linkedin to scrap cvs and save them in csv format. then we will pre process the data and implement  cosine similarity. We will compare keywords with job criteria set by HR and form fill by candidate.Then we will rank cv's by higher priority. 

In our product phase we will create a portal for candidate and HR ,where candidate will fill out form and upload cv as pdf. On HR side HR will set criteria of the form and then it will short list cvs and ranked them.Then rank will shown to candidate.   

Benefits of the Project

Large Number of cvs shortlist and ranked in short amount of time. HR time will save by short list cv's. Candidate  will be known how I was rejected by giving them a rank.
