Project Summary

The MIS of FYP has improved learning of students and it has also enhanced or modify the learning process and skills of students. The available MIS equipment was not sufficient to be utilized by the FYP’s Students, Online proposal submission, interaction with Jury Board of FYP and senior FYP COMMITTEE within the university campus. To enhance FYP decision processes, so that decision making, policy analysis, formulating, planning, monitoring and management at all levels can be a reality effective MIS operation should be adequately available. Although some challenges were encountered this served as an obstacle in effective utilization of MIS within the campus. An observation is when a person has been put under study for some specific behavior. The validity and the reliability of this method can also be rest assured because the researcher looks out for specific factors that are related and relevant to the study and would not have any errors. This MIS system is very helpful for FYP students that can easily decide which project proposal is best for him regarding its skills. And provide online facilities to student’s submissions of all documents and provide better interaction with Jury board of FYP and Also provide the prediction result of   Proposal failures and Acceptance ratio.

Project Objectives

The key objectives of The FYP Management information system are that as its name implies, MIS is a system that manages the entire data/information of FYP’s of the University Students. MIS covers the planning of FYP, control, Status of FYP, Interaction with Jury Board of FYP and administration of the operations of a concern. It helps the management in planning of FYP, controlling and operations. The central objective of MIS is to provide information to every Student of a university so that student can take an instant and better decision without any delay.

It is a system to gathers data from the internal and external sources of a university processes the data and circulate the processed data/information to the Jury Board of FYP to assist them in the procedure of decision-making.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our FYP project is developed on using Pyhton,Django web farmwork and for Project Recomendation System we used Machine Learning Algorithms .

Software Interfaces:

·   Visual Studio Code => Web Application

·   MySQL => Database

·   Python ,Jupyter Notebook ,Spider => Machine Learning Algorithm

After the Development of the whole FYP project we got a Web Application.The working flow this Web application is that:

Admin account is created directly from the database; admin will login to the System. Once authenticated he/she will be able to create student and teacher accounts. Students can login to the system and submit his/her proposal. He/she can check the proposal status. In the upcoming module, he/she will get fyp ideas too.

Teachers can review the proposal and accept or reject it. They can add remarks to it.
