Micro-Inverter for Photo-Voltaic Systems (PV) is designed to illustrate the conversion of Direct Current (DC) from solar panels/battery into Alternating Current (AC).

Gives pure sinusoidal wave at the output side/load. Efficient for low power applications/home appliances. Cheapest source for fulfilling increasing demands of electricity. Latest techniques used.

Overall, we were able to create a successful prototype of the idea and believe that our project has a vast scope and worth in the market.

Project Objectives

Ø  To perfectly utilize the power generated by PV Panel

Ø  To convert the voltage produced by PV into perfect AC voltage

Ø  To efficiently utilize solar source of energy by designing low cost and smaller size inverter

Ø  Design and Analysis of the Micro Inverter for Low power application.

Project Implementation Method

Our aim is to first test the circuit in any simulation software , and then implement the one which gives best result .

We have completed the first phase of the project  i-e testing different topologies and selecting the best one out of them.

Ø  Obtained Input DC Voltage From Solar Panel (PV) of 12V.

Ø   Stepped Up DC Voltage to 310V Through High Frequency Transformer.

Ø   Obtained Output of AC Voltage of Pure Sine Wave of 220V through Micro-inverter.
