Compression of fluid is often needed for Mechanical applications; for certain requirement a specific type of compressor is used. A positive displacement screw compressor is used where high compression ratio coupled with high flow rate is desired. Screw type compressors are manufactured by using generated profile cutter which reduces possibility of space optimization,

the goal of this project is to use 4 axis CNC machining to generate close tolerances in mating screws and optimize meshing profiles for compressors.
