Introduction

Every child has the basic right of shelter, food, education, and protection. These rights must be preserved to grow him healthy so he shall be able to serve his society. But, every year, every day many children go missing. There are many reasons for it such as

1. Kidnapping
2. Abduction (Family, Non-Family)
3. Run-aways (Poverty, Broken homes)
4. Sexual Rape Attempts

After the child has been lost and as soon as the time is passed the threats are increasing and the chance of recovery is decreasing. A rough estimation shows that 22,000 children get lost every day worldwide constituted at least 80 lacs per year. More detail is as follows

Moreover, if any person is under the age of 18 and not in contact with the family is declared as the lost child

Project Goal:
The main goal of the project is to provide a solution for Lost & Missing Children and increase the rate of Recovery Mechanism in Pakistan. It has been so long even after 72 years of independence our children are not yet secured. We are going to develop a mobile app along with with with with a website that creates an end to end connection between the one whose child is lost & the one who finds any lost child for the direct recovery of the child as soon as possible. Furthermore, we apply different filters, funnels, image processing techniques on data from our database to make our system works more reliable, efficient & portable.

Project Implementation Method

It is as follows

1. Develop Android Application: Android application is based upon the Flutter Platform. Flutter is a cross-platform developed by Google in May 2017 which targets Android, IOS, Web, and Desktop.
2. Develop IOS Application: IOS application is based upon the Flutter Platform. Flutter is a cross-platform developed by Google in May 2017 which targets Android, IOS, Web, and Desktop.
3. Develop Website: The website is being developed with PHP using the Laravel Framework.

Benefits of the Project

Benefits:

Our Project is for social welfare. Anyone can download it from the app store/play store or access our website just with a single click and provide information about the recovery of the children at any place in Pakistan.
The end users/beneficiaries are as follows

1. It would decrease the ratio of Child Rape Cases in Pakistan
2. Direct tracking of the lost children in society
3. Anyone whose child is lost will be benefited from it.
4. Anyone who found someone’s lost child will be benefited from it.
5. Law Enforcement Authorities (Police, Intelligence)
6. Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s like Roshni Helpline, Edhi Foundation)
7. Government of Pakistan

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Technical Details:

1. The user creates the account (Sign Up).
2. A user enters One Time Password (OTP) sent on SMS/Email.
3. Display Disclaimer (In case of providing false/fake/irrelevant/misleading information about the lost/found children, your account should be banned, and your data will be given to the law enforcement authorities for further processing.)
4. Log In to the account.
5. Recover Password if needed.
6. If he lost any child so fill the desired information asked in the form.
7. If he finds any lost child, then the desired information asked in the form.
8. The database works at the back end and checks out if any information found based on techniques (Photo) and filters (Region, Age, Gender).
9. Create notification based upon the result.
10. If a piece of valid information is found, notification is generated, and a connection is established among them.
11. If a piece of valid information is not found, notification is generated to contact you very soon when valid data is found.
12. Both parties can contact with Police and the child is handover in the Police Station.
13. Click on “Have You Seen Us” to see already lost or found children list. You can also search there.
14. Logout the account.
