Our proposed system is location based alarm system that provide ease for the mobile users. People often do multiple tasks that are located at different places, but it is difficult to remember all of them which results in missing some of the tasks. Our proposed Android based system helps people with a reminder as soon as they close to particular location by which their task is associated.

To achieve this it will use GPS that helps to observe the location of the user. The system gets the geological coordinates of user and with the help of map the user’s location will be tracked to alarm the user about a particular task. It will allow user to edit and delete their tasks and task description that will flash on the screen with the alarm. This system will definitely help people to remember their daily life tasks which will be based on location rather than traditional time-specific alarm system. This application is not just for task reminder but it can also use as traveler assistance for the frequent travelers to visit their desirable places.

Project Implementation Method

In this project, we are going to use the Scrum Methodology of Agile development framework as a result of by using this system we will build changes in our project whenever it will be required. In the Agile model, the requirements are divided  into many tiny parts that can be incrementally developed. Iterative development also developed by the Agile Development framework. And over every iteration each incremental part is developed.Tools required to develop this application are VSCode, React-native, Database (SQLite). Methodology used for development is Scrum Model.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Now a days people with a busy routine have to do different task at different places Sometime they forgot to do some of them because they are unable to go to that task associated place. So we proposed a system that is a reminder for people whenever they visit that place or pass by that place. To use the system user first register himself/herself on the application by providing their user name and then providing some other details. Then user enter its username and password for login procedure. By selecting the task location and problem related to task. After entering the task detail user will get the location on map with a circle. Our proposed system will track the user location with the help of GPS module whenever the user came across the task destination the alarm will activated. This application worked even when user is using other applications. One user start the click on the start button user will start getting notification whenever he came across the location and only when stop when user will click on the stop button. This system also help the user how far he/she from the location.Tools required to develop this application are VSCode, React-native, Database (SQLite). Methodology used for development is Scrum Model.
