Project Summary

The idea for this app came to me when I was reading an article about a young girl who had come up with the idea for nail polish that would change in color if the person wearing it had been spiked. The article got me thinking, how can we use people’s mobile phones to make them in some way safer when going about daily life, I specifically thought mobile phones because it’s something people nearly always have on them where ever they go. Further I thought, it’s got to be something that users don’t consciously have to be using for it to function correctly, something they can have set before they go about their day and not have to worry about remembering while already out. The main reason and focus behind the idea of this app is based around the user’s security and personal safety.

The aim of the project is to develop a mobile messenger application that each person can chat with each other, with some basic functions & some extra added functions with will make the communication smoother & reliable with security feature by using Encryption Algorithm.

Project Objectives

As a daily life user if social media apps like WhatsApp, messenger, snapchat we may have seen many issues in the usage of them that may can harm our data in sense of security. If I’m will precisely follow the WhatsApp then I have lot of errors to cover. Some common errors like error code coming during usage of WhatsApp E.g., Error code 400(Media download error),402(Payment issue),408(message is not valid), 407 & many more like this these errors make our passion to use the app a bit of down. In other perceptive the UI of the application is not too much smooth every new user could easily understand the while of application.

As a user of Instagram, we can simply see the status bar is always on top, really that’s quite a cool feature. So, user can view the relevant status feature on the top of the main screen. Same like if we use messenger there is an option of react on any message and Apply feelings on that. That feature is also a very nice way to show your emotions.

If we see normal WhatsApp Application it gives us a feature of night mode and day mode but there is no option of Night Light so the users who have issue of eye side, they can use it in night by using that function. Same like other messaging apps like messenger snapchat there is a nice feature of camera Filters which is not a part of WhatsApp. Me as a user of WhatsApp this app make a lot of cache data in cellphone which is really annoying to clean the phone again and again. There must be solution of some of these common bugs. Sometime if we use apps constantly for calling it will surely make your hot that may cause blast of the cell phone, this problem is caused due to usage of background data which make the phone GPU work more and more due to this the cell phone over heated this problem is critical issue.

Technical bugs are also serious problem. For example, if we clean mobile cache, it will delete all the photos data from the folder even, we will not be able to view the status photos it will show us a problem. More like that sometime if there is a new user of WhatsApp there is a Feature of WhatsApp OTP, it usually creates a problem in receiving OTP code. Sometimes WhatsApp hang due to lot of messages received or a lengthy message receive with more then 500 words. These are some common issues with normal messaging app.

If we look in more depth as a user point view there is always an issue with the privacy of the user this problem makes all the users uncomfortable, if we see telegram their security policy is very good as compared to Beta privacy policy. There must be privacy policy like that can give a feel to user to secure. Another major issue with these high-end apps Is that they are now not giving the updates in the older version mobile phones like 4 version of android so they are not able to use the application nowadays there must be solution of that.

Project Implementation Method

First of all, OTP verification will used for verify phone number.

After that profile picture feature will be used for updating profile picture or skip the feature to move further to the chat section.

Now user will be able to add contact and chat will any other person, user will be able to send message, receive message and react, remove and unsent the message.

The user will also be ale to do audio call and video call to the next person.

The camera feature will also be a part of this application so user can send the picture after clicking and also from the gallery.

Group feature will not be a part of that application it can compromise the application security feature.

No one will be able to take the screen shot of any chat on the screen even contact detail.

The user will be able to upload status and view the status of any other person.

Mute option will also be part of this app so that the user can mute the status and the chat of any person.

The user will also able to setup his/her own profile setting so to make the changes according to himself/herself.

Benefits of the Project

Link Application will be a modern messaging app that will make communication smoother and more secure. This application will also work for people who have eye diseases. There will be night mode option for them so they can use it easily. There will be feature that no one can screen shot on any chat so the chat will be secure. Camera feature will be advanced so the user can easily add the filters and beauty in any picture and add some emojis effect in that to give it a cool look. This application will work for both low end users and high-end users. Offline chat storage option will also work so user can read chats later even without the internet.
