If we succeed in this project then it will motivate us to make a single universal CNC machine that performs laser cutting, milling, 3-D printing & plasma cutting. Laser cutter and engraver is a process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of variable intensity laser. With Laser cutter and engraver, two-dimensional cutting and engraving tasks can be accomplished in a single set of prompts. Laser cutter and engraver has become one of the most important and efficient means of handling metal fabrication tasks in modern industry. This is because the technology itself is a combination of sophisticated software programming integrated to advanced mechanical engineering to produce a system Laser cutter and engraver.
Project ObjectivesCutting neatly was an art before this but using hands and tools was not up to the mark, thus this technology will revolutionize this field of cutting and engraving. It will cut so precisely and nicely even where grinder or other tools would fail whether wood, plastics or even metals. To fulfill customize product needs we are making dual-purpose Laser cutter and engraver that can perform both operations of engraving and cutting.
Project Implementation Method• Literature Review : In this stage we completely understand the literature review and gained knowledge from different people
• CAD modelling and Designing : For designing we first use solid works software to design model
• Purchasing : In this process our task is to collect all components which will be required in our project
• Manufacturing And Assembling : In this phase our task ia to make an outer body of CNC and assemble all the parts we will use high quality materials for the outer body of our CNC
• Testing And Report Writting : Dual purpose CNC able to perform milling machining
