Kissan Dost is a digital breakthrough in the agriculture sector that will transform our current agricultural practices.

Through this app, Kissan (farmers) will be able to get on-spot health updates on their crops. The app will be the first of its kind to analyze the crop by using the mobile app and tell about the disease and soil fertility rate. Apart from this, the Kissan Dost will provide a platform for agricultural specialists to provide online counseling to farmers rather than visit physically. This will provide more help to farmers to discuss their problems with the expert.

Project Objectives
  1. To Provide a facility for Stage wise disease detection to farmers to take appropriate measures in a timely manner to avoid crop damage.
  2. To Provide a facility for Soil Detection using IoT sensors to measure the soil health by determining the moisture of the soil for the crop production
  3.  To provide Region-based weather updates to keep farmers informed about the weather condition of their region in order to take appropriate measures for crops accordingly.
  4.  To provide an online Farmer advisory service to educate farmers about modern agriculture practices.
  5.  To provide Pesticides e-store to the farmers to order and receive the required pesticides with convenience, ease, and in a timely manner.
  6.  To provide the facility of a Fertilizer calculator to tell farmers about the amount of fertilizer needed to get the desired yield based on humidity, temperature, and soil wetness sensors.
Project Implementation Method

We will create a mobile application through which the farmer will take the picture of his crop. That picture will then be analyzed by our AI-based agent which will identify the diseases present in the crop. Once identified, the app will also suggest suitable pesticides and will direct the farmer to our web-based e-store. In addition to that, IoT-based sensors will be used to detect the fertility of soil making our project an all-in-one agriculture solution.

In the final, our project will technically work with some sensors, mobile application, and devices by using machine learning algorithms
