I-UPS is a smart UPS. It consists of Inverter and Converter, For converting AC to DC we are using closed loop flyback topology. The controller that we are using is UCC3842 for this purpose. For converter DC to AC we are using push-pull topology. The controller used for this purpose is SG-3525.

I-UPS is a smart UPS. It consists of Inverter and Converter, For converting AC to DC we are using closed loop flyback topology. The controller that we are using is UCC3842 for this purpose. For converter DC to AC we are using push-pull topology. The controller used for this purpose is SG-3525.
Our circuit will provide balaced charging if more than one batteries are connected. We are monitoring the UPS charging and loads applied at the UPS. UPS battery level, applied load and input and output power can be seen via mobile app.
Our UPS has form factor of a CD-ROM and can easily be replaced by CD-ROM and will give backup to PC.
Our goal is to achieve a smart ups with smaller form factor and our smart ups will also communicate about its charging and the load variation.
First we make Proteus and Altium Designs. Do proper testing of them. Then start making hardware in form of different modules. Separately test each module and then test after combining all of them together.
First we conduct no load test and then load tests. The input power, output power, load all these data is constantly uploaded on server and can be seen on mobile.
CD-ROMs are not used now a days in PCs. Our UPS can be replaced by CD-ROM and will give backup when main supply from Wapds is cut-off.
Moreover one can also see live stats about on mobile. The converter can be used in DC Fans. It's converter can be used as a supply for many appliances of the new emerging DC based power industry
For Inverter we are using pushpull topology.
For converter we are using Flyback topology
to upload data to server we are using ESP-32
