IoT Based Water System Management
This project is to manage water consumption using controlled IoT based system. This project helps us save water from wastage. Besides this we can also find out the volumetric flow rate of water using flow sensor and quality of water by means of measuring temperature, pressure, volume, impurity and the pH of water. The whole system will be operated through mobile application and all the measurements will be displayed on 20x4 LCD. However there is also a Wi-Fi Module so that the system may be operated remotely. An Arduino is used to program the pumps and pressure generators through software to automate the devices and the motors turn ON and OFF automatically in order to generates the specific pressure on specific signals, by developing this system we will save the water from wastage.
Flow sensor is being used here to find out flow rate of water passing through the pipe or container. Different sensors are being used here to find the qualities of water. This project is presenting you all the features in one frame. It is so much preferable for saving of water, enhancing agriculture sector, how to manage and recycle our water. Besides all these industrial application we can also use it in medical field. Real time data is being analyzed here of the supply and consumption of water. This system is controlling and monitoring the flow of fluids in any system either hydraulic lift or other systems that runs over the fluids.
We can easily notice the deficiency of waters and other fluids mineral in future there is a theory too which emphasis us to focus and deeply think on this issue that till 2050 our Planet earth will lost these two elements water and petroleum. Even Pakistan has become a water deficit country due to depleting ground and surface water resources, loss in surface shortage, prevailing droughts and shift of fresh water from agriculture to more pressing domestic as well as industrial uses.
This Project gives the real time data analysis of water to determine the usage and supply and also helpful in predicting the future requirement on the basis of previous data gathered. It helps in controlling and monitoring the flow of fluids in any system either hydraulic lift or other systems that runs over the fluids

Basically this proposes the design of smart water management system is based on Arduino as an IoT application. In the proposed design, once water is collected in ground tank, the ultrasonic sensor is used to sense the level of water. The sensed information is updated on an android application through which user can visualize the water level on a smartphone. According to the level of water in the tank, the motor functioning is controlled, when water reaches near high level of underground tank, motor will be turned on through Blynk application on smartphone to transfer the water in the ground tank to main tank and when main tank is about to fill up it will turn off automatically. When soil of the garden is dry, the soil moisture sensor senses the dryness in soil and automatically start the water pump and water flow through main tank and reach the soil of garden then motor is automatically switched off. Storing the rainwater reduces the surface runoff. This also reduces the surface erosion. By capturing rainwater in reservoirs, the flood problem in large rainfalls is also diminished. Besides this there also different IoT based sensors are being used to sense the air pressure, temperature, impurity and pH of water etc.
