Smart meter for water utilization provides solution for this problem and it measures the quantity of water consumed by each household and allow the user to monitor the consumption level.

This project will implement in different phases:

Phase 1: Design and preparation of methods, equipment selection, etc

 
Phase 2: Study and Design of The four parts, Mobile App, Cloud module, IoT Gateway interface at hardware side, Hardware setup,

Phase 3: Implementation and integration of hardware and all software modules,

 
Phase 4: Testing and algorithm design and tuning for overall project modules.

• Encourage water conservation – important given strain on water resources.
• Encourage allocatively efficient distribution. ...
• In long term lower overall water consumption would reduce cost of investing in unnecessary reservoirs, leading to even lower water bills
