They can communicate with home automation network through an Internet gateway, by Wi-Fi .The system includes remote control and monitoring domestic appliances and security management and sensors .One additional feature in IoT BASED HOME AUTOMATION is controlling the system by SPEECH RECOGNITION which aims to provide the user the facility to control their home appliances through internet and also control it through their speech .The objective of this work is to implement an IOT based smart home controller and control it through the smart phones.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this work is to implement an IOT based smart home controller and control it through the smart phones. That depicts the smart home controller where the loads are connected to internet through microcontroller and IOT. Also monitors the system that what components are working properly and automated according to the situation and environment.Controlled by any device capable of Wi-Fi (Android, IOS, PC). To make the home appliances flexible in control, any device can be capable of using Wi-Fi based connectivity which will control the home appliances from remote location. And Monitoring Of the system remotely as well. Extensible platform for future enhancement: The application is to be highly extensible, with possibility of adding features in the future as needed

Arduino Uno Arduino is an open source, PC paraphernalia and programming organization, endeavour, and client group that plans and produce microcontroller packs for constructing programmed devices and intelligent object that can detect and control questions in the real world.The ESP8266 is an ease Wi-Fi chip with full TCP/IP stack and MCU (Micro Controller Unit) capacity created by Chinese . These are the primary arrangement of modules made with the ESP8266 by the outsider producer AI-Thinker and remain the most generally available. They are large alluded to as "ESP-xx modules". To shape a workable advancement framework they require extra parts, particularly a serial TTL-to-USB connector and an outside 3.3 volt control supply.
The proposed system is a distributed home automation system, consists of server(Application), hardware interface modules. Server controls hardware one interface module(Devices), and can be easily configured to handle more hardware interface module. The hardware interface module in turn controls its alarms and devices
Web Application can be accessed from the web browser of any local PC in the same LAN using server IP, or remotely from any PC or mobile handheld device connected to the same WIFI that our microcontroller is connected with appropriate web browser supports asp.net technology through server real IP (internet IP).The android application running in the smart phones connects to the internet through Wi-Fi; similarly, the microcontroller is connected to the internet through home Wi-Fi. The controlling request is sent from android app by using API commands to the server. The server in return sends the request to the client (microcontroller), further to which the microcontroller turns ON/OFF the particular device. In case the user forgets to turn off his/her devices it can be done remotely from any part of the world, once connected to internet.Hardware interface modules are directly connected to sensors and through direct wires connections. Hardware interface modules have the capabilities to control, thermostats and HVAC (heating) systems.The proposed home automation system has the capabilities to control the following components in users home and monitor the following alarms:Temperature and humidity

Home security: In automated system When a user leaving a home and user will forgot to turn off Ac our automated system automatically turned Off AC by a temperature sensor.
Energy efficiency and savings: User can increase the energy efficiency by controlling your electrical fixtures through IOT. If user are unsure whether child has left lights on before leaving, user can check and control it through phone.
Convenience: This can be considered as one of the main advantages of home automation using IOT. user have the control of all your devices connected through IOT. It makes it very convenient for user to have all the devices adjusted just through phone. For example, if user forgot to adjust thermostat in the morning before user left their house, user can adjust it from their office.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe final Deliverable of the system Would be and HR/SW integrated application for android users.
